I want to know why I shouldn't pound the prop #294 "SEA players with a passing attempt - under 2 1/2"?

I know you can take the approach Wilson gets injured, fake punt, fake FG, RB option pass, but that's a little like being afraid to go outside in the rain for fear of lightning. Some may refer to Seattle's fake FG against GB but with NE now being aware of that the chance of Seattle trying it again should be real slim. Even if they did that's still only 2. Actually the same applies to Seattle trying a fake punt for the same NE on guard for fakes reason.

The odds are (-280) but for what has a very high probability of winning I don't think the risk is very bad.
How many times on any given Sunday (or other day) does a pro team have 3 players throw passes? Two players only happens on rare occasions, three is a rare occurrence.

Question is am I overlooking something?

I do assume an illegal forward pass that could be thrown at the end of a game if a team is lateralling the ball all over in desperation wouldn't count. An "illegal pass" should be equal to "no pass"

Thoughts?

You're reading the prop wrong. It's NE/Sea players with a pass attempts o/u 2.5.
NOT NE over 2.5 players / SEA under 2.5 players

Now that you say that it makes more sense however the way it appears is deceptive.
It reads "NE players with a passing attempt" on the line with the over then on the next line it reads "SEA players with a passing attempt" with under on that line.
How much trouble would it be to have both team names on each line, i.e.- NE/SEA?

I appreciate you pointing that out before I loaded even more on this. I'm already in for $200 which I'm going to call and see if I can void. Worst case I'll bet the opposite and take the hit on the juice.

Damn!

Actually another way it's deceptive is listing it this way and assuming everyone knows what they mean. Other props that refer to both teams don't include a team name in the wording.
Like #145 Total FGs made. It doesn't say NE on the over line and SEA on the under line. This format appears for many of the props. Is it really stupid to read what I read into this prop?

When in doubt the books are right and your misinterpretation is irrelevant. Unfortunately.

Remember back at mid season when you took offense to something I said and complained about me coming in your thread?
I said I'd never read or post in your thread again ...... and I never did!

Now here you come in my thread making fun of me. Come on Dude!

And now the irony of all ironys the prop wins anyway. Had I not found out I had both teams I'd have proceeded to add more to my original wager and now I'd be cashing.
This is typical of how my luck gos with mistakes. Every year I make 2 or 3 mistakes and I almost always ends up with it costing me.
Had I not realized the mistake it probably would have lost. Another story to add to my book "1000 ways to lose at sports wagering."
