An Atlanta Heads Up.....

Hey guys, I don't usually post picks in this room because I don't think I am qualified to risk other people's money when it comes to NBA. Today is an exception; six or seven times a season I see a game that the Hawks don't have a chance in hell of winning. Tonights game in Houston is one of them. Last night the Hawks blew a 12 point lead in the 4th and went on to lose by 11 in overtime (a monumental feat in itself, mostly because of not being able to make free throws.)

The Hawks left Atlanta around 1 a.m. and at best, got to bed in Houston around 5 a.m. The Hawks coach, Mike Woodson said on the morning talk show that "Tonight will be tough, the guys are tired. I'm going to rotate the bench guys in a lot early and maybe we will have some legs left down the stretch."

The line is Houston -11 currently; it may move to 12-12.5 by tip off; This may be the first time in three years that I give up 11 points in the NBA. I used to do it with the Lakers at home from time to time.

I think the Hawks lose by 20+

Rockets are very tough to gauge now.

They dont have the blowout ability.

Since the coach is going to rotate the bench early, I am playing the first half.

I had the Atl --Pacer game on last night and they were saying Houston will be looking for revenge for game they must of played last month,,, In
Woodsons report after the game he made note . He played Walker and Harrington a bunch and his team run out of gas...
But also keep in mind last night was first of 4 games in 5 nights...
A bad team just got worse.....

This is interesting. A lot of these points you guys make I do in my capping when forshadowing outcomes for my system picks. Add the fact that Houston got blown out their last game to the mix as well.

Hey, I REALLY appreciate that info...I ranked HOU as a #3 play tonight, then saw your post, and your info then made me make that pick one of my top plays tonight and I wanted to personally THANK YOU for that info as I did use it in my write-up, too...My basic trends were all with HOU already, but that was good info that "sealed the deal" for me...I have only been a member here a SHORT time, but there is no question that you must be a very good asset to have here at the RX...
