It seems very odd how the greatest admirer on this board of George Bush is not willing to enlist and help "spread Democracy" ...

Hmmmm .... very interesting pattern in that the Chickenhawks like Bblight that love war are not willing to show courage and join the cause .... wow ..... does anyone think of Karl Rove and Dick Cheney when that topic is debated???

Bblight .... be a man and get your ass over in Iraq where our courageous kids are dying daily or shut your phony lip service up and get back in the sack with Bushie Homo White House Press corp plant Jeff Gannon

Whatever happened to Jeff Gannon? Does anyone ever get prosecuted in this administration for lying to the public or complicity in leaking priviliged information? How can the karl Roves of the world sleep at night? I guess they have no consciouses or no belief in a supreme being!

As much as I think Bush is one of the biggest puppet presidents ever, and he cannot deliver a speech to save his ass.

This was the United Nations taking American lives.......we could have flattened that rat hole in the first two months of this war

but OIL OIL OIL and protecting the UN laws is why this is a FVK UP

New, if we actually cared about the UN's opinion, we wouldn't be there in the first place. So doubt that enters into how we are conducting the war.

The UN has no influence on anything we're doing in Iraq. Any problems you have with our strategy should be addressed directly to George W. Bush.

We do not need ground troop activity....we are forced to ground troop activity. SO whether you question the war in general that is fine, and you can chase bush around all your life for that

BUT THE WAY WE ARE HAVING TO EXECUTE THE WAR.....is not Bush's choice, it is the UN

So do You take a pass on War against evil, when you cannot do it the easy way, or do you fight the war regardless of the rules. Tough question

Trust me as Much as anyone might hate bush for his decisions, he would have many more hate him for wiping out a civilation with air strikes.

HE WOULD BLAST Iraq by AIR right now if he could!!!!!

Talking about the execution,

Hey Doc, What are you talking about - I'm in a tent right now in the middle of Iraq - getting ready to go out and do battle for my country!

Just as you served for LBJ and for Clinton during their time of need - I'm serving my President during his time of need.

What's that you say? You never served! You were 4F!

Whoa - how can you expect me to serve for MY president if you never served for YOUR president. - And I'm not talking about some state hack job, supervising prisoners as they pick up road side trash.

I can't do this if you won't even play by your own rules - I'm packing up and going home!

And what would all these airstrikes accomplish? Mass killing yes, but without ground troops to come behind, the only other option would be nuclear!

AIR STRIKES DE-MOBILIZE A FORCE, SUPPLIES ARE CUT OFF, MORAL IS DESTROYED.......THIS IS WHAT AIR STRIKES DO....THEY TAKE AWAY RESOURCES, AND THEN IT IS LIKE A CAMP FIRE SIZZLING OUT IN THE RAIN

THE GROUND TRROPS THAT THEN COME IN ARE MORE CLEAN UP AND RECON AFTER THE FACT

You need a lesson on what Gorilla warfare is.......we call it terrorism today, therefore, it is the UNITED NATIONS making a martyr out of this war

WE THE STRONG WE AMERICA..........could get back on track, and get back to helping all the other countries that cannot stand on two feet, if we JUST AIRSTRIKE IRAQ......

Talking about the execution,

Since the UN did not approve the war in the first place, how can they possibly have ANYTHING to do with the way it is fought? What you say about more people hating Bush basically means that he isn't bombing the shit out of Iraq because it would cost the Republicans in the next elections. I call that playing politics with national security.

And by the way, the only reason this guerrilla warfare is being called terrorism is because that is the way Bush and his cronies have taken to labeling it. What targets do you propose to strike at with your massive air raids, I would like to know? I think the whole reason we can't stop the insurgency is because we don't know where the targets are in the first place.

Well I will agree to disagree with the UN stance I have. I know what they did to Afganistan, and if Oil and the UN stood aside on this one we would do the same thing.

Have you ever heard the word CRIPPLE, you do not need an exact target when trying to break down and de mobilize geurilla warfare, or terrorists...I can tell you one thing, with airstrikes, there would not be the training schools and buildings where they teach the guerilla tactics, and teach the brain dead how to strap a bomb to their back........You break down communication, and infrastrucutre with air strikes

Oh I did not say air strike NOW.....too FVKIN late....this should have been done in the beginning, then questioning the war would be moot, it would have already been over!!!!

The UN is the security blanket for the Shiates (spelling), and they are saying to the US, you want to fight in Iraq......sure you can , but you need to protect our interests in OIL, that the Shiates are happy to have you the US lose lives over protecting oil...........

So it is the old statement, you can fight for the cause, but do not rock the boat.

So to all those that say the war is stupid and a waste of time, I say you might have a VERY strong case, but NO President is going to give a State of the Union address and say

Well everyone we would have been out of here a long time ago, if we could have just flattened Irag and started over, but the UN says we cannot rock the boat.......So yes we can pull out, and when we do

THE CAVE MEN DWELLERS LIVING IN THE MIDDLE EAST WILL SPEND THE NEXT 20 YEARS WORKING ON THE NEXT 9/11........right when we are most vulnerable.......

I think the reason why we didn't take proactive stances against the insurgency is because our leadership didn't think there was going to be an insurgency. As Dick Cheney said "I do believe we will be welcomed as liberators". Our whole war plan was based on this pathetically naive assumption, it seems.

It could be so easy and it could have been done so quickly and without one American soldier risking development a plantars wart.
