Am I the only one that thinks that these Italian matches are completely corrupt?

Big time Serie A matches are certainly not rigged. Italy, much like France, produces a lower scoring form of soccer. That can very well explain 2 goals in however many games at halftime. I decent percentage of Serie A games will end 0-0, and there's nothing corrupt about it. I'm tired of this "matches are fixed" deal on therx, because there almost can't be as many fixes as we see here, and that's proven by the amount of "fixes" that end up "losers". So just watch yourself here acw. Lots of BS floating around especially in the soccer threads.

acw- While there are always going to be outcomes in sporting events that make you wonder sometimes, I feel the only problem with Serie A is that it sucks. Plain and simple. The league is hideous. The matches are tough to handicap and even tougher to watch. They should put them on pay per view. That is you should get paid to watch them. The Premiership, Bundesliga and La Liga are so much more entertaining to watch.

Corrupt? Overall, I don't think so. Lousy soccer? Absolutely.

Toledo's coach had said that Gradkowsi's hand had healed in time when it did not. The reason Toledo lost that game is cuz Gradkowski had 4 BIG METAL SCREWS IN HIS HAND and he couldn't throw the ball properly. Please stop saying this game was fixed and other soccer games......or when it's all said and done you're going to look like a clown

Look Ace, I don't live in Europe neither do you. Whomever you have as contacts probably knows more about this than either of us do.

But you've issued a few of these plays very recently that come to mind that were referred to as "must bets" that odds changed a ton on, meaning tons of people followed you. I remember especially you trying to justify that a World Cup Qualifying match was rigged. Now Brazilian soccer, and trying to convince us that a boat load of soccer is rigged.

Would it really surprise me if a portion of these games are rigged? Absolutely not. But you CAN NOT BE SERIOUS when you say that some of these are rigged. No Juventes game or AC Milan game is going to be rigged because they're fighting for the title. This is the equivalent of two teams vying for the #1 seed in the NFL playoffs. If you believe that these NFL games are also rigged, more power to you. But to those of us that believe that sport exists, this is bogus.

You're right. I don't understand any of this. I follow soccer very casually. I understand what teams are good and which suck, and that's it. I don't know if you've really got contacts in all of these countries or not, but some of these odds and such that you get seem to be REALLY questionable, and I for one will warn anyone that comes here to tread carefully and not go nuts when they see a game that you dub a can't miss like they did with that WCQ match. I think you're a great guy and a great capper, but I also think that your guarantees have gone overboard, and though they may or may not win in the longrun, people have to use discretion when following "fixed games."

Roxy, I have no doubt that Ace knows more inside information than I do. But the fact of the matter says that Ace is one of the, if not the most popular person on therx, and knowing that newbies come in all the time and will pointed in his direction. Though Ace has done well with these soccer things, I don't believe that any given game is fixed, thus making it impossible to judge whether or not he is on the right side or not. That being said, he only posts in soccer games to which he gets a call that they are fixed, and whether he's right or not, he has SEVERAL followers. The newbies or people that haven't kept up that think they're guarantees need to be warned, and that's all I was trying to do with our friend who started this thread.

I guess you had the OVER on the Livorno-Lecce game? I desperately wanted to take the UNDER but none of my outs had anything CLOSE to those Asian books and I just couldn't get myself to take a bad number...so I passed and kicked myself afterwards.

I used to hang around a lot of European punters (skilled ones), and the word on the street is that Serie A is legit for the most part. More draws happen than in other leagues but it's because of the style of play and the culture...score a goal and then play D the rest of the game...of course legitimacy can never be proven and so it just may be a very well kept secret...who knows?

Just wondering...anyone know where to find stats on Serie A for stuff like shots on goal or corners? Even as part of match report would be nice...doesn't have to be tabulated. I've combed the search engines and can't seem to find anything.

Also, how does one sign up at that book www.indosport.net ? There is no link to any sign-up page or info. Is it an ancient Chinese secret :>Grin> ? Also, while we're here, what is your opinion about Pointbet? Are they reliable? Any other good Asian books that let white dudes sign up over the internet?

Actually, I reneg on my previous statement that Ace is doing well with this. Since posting here with these games you get calls on, you're 5-7 -$6350.90. That's also pretty good because you had 4 plays on English Championship soccer and quoted as "no time to post values" when posting "for $100" would have been easier. So you baited people into these bets without knowing how strong they were, so even if they were only for $100, you total remains in the hole over 6 dimes. This is why I suggest people to tread very carefully, knowing that the percentage of these hits, at least posted here, are awfully poor.

i understand your concern aflguru i really do.ace-ace has shared some info with me that is very powerfull regarding his information. hes only imparting some to the forum.we cant worry about newbys blindly following tho. no one warned me or you or anyone else when we 1st started betting on sports.i didnt get on ace's nfl plays till i saw he was winning. do your homework new posters and find the consistent cappers before following.hows your arena season going guru? its been strange hasnt it?

Joe: Not saying the man shouldn't post his plays if he's got good information, but the tag on him now in these soccer threads is that the game he is betting are fixed. I don't believe that these games are all fixed, nor do I believe he's on the right side of all of them, but the record is shady, and everyone deserves to know it. Yes, everyone has their own options and their own bankrolls, but the promise of "They will win" paired with people hyping him up has caused a lot of losing money, and that's not the goal in this forum. I'm sure Ace will end up winning money in this ordeal with his inside information, but if someone ends up tapped out because "They will win" doesn't happen, this goes from a losing wager to something completely destructive and not recoverable very easily.

Roxy-- We can all see a newby's perspective because we all were newbies at one point. I really don't want to take the time to be arguing over this, because I'm really just trying to help out and give advice to some of the people in this forum who don't know what's been going on. There's nothing wrong with following Ace, as I believe he's going to win in the long run, but people still need to use proper management. We don't know what % of the bankroll 5 dimes is, and though it's not necessarily anyone's business, everyone must exert money management. Gambling and becoming a better gambler is a lot about proper management, and I hated hearing things like "I lost an entire week's pay on this" like I did a few weeks back in WCQ. It's just a warning, and people can take it however they want. By no means do I think Ace Ace should stop posting.

Hell, I remember asking people to buy into my AFL plays, telling them the whole truth right from the very beginning, and if you've followed thus far, even if it was all on the closing lines, you've done well. You've gotta be good to get respect in any forum like this and it takes balls to take claim to any plays that you know others will be betting on, especially in a situation like I am in, knowing that other people are betting more than I am. But yes, to address your other comment, it's been an unusually screwy Arena League season. I think we should send a joint thank you card to New York for scoring a BS TD today to win us a lot of $$$.
