on the Monday night football game a few weeks ago during the game between Oakland and Kansas City, I said to myself, "this kc team has the best camaraderie i have ever seen. i will never bet against kc the rest of the season." Well, when I saw this 10 point # come out after the bye I am thinking that just maybe kc doesn't destroy cleveland. I know kc will win, but can they just coast to a 7 point win so i can cash my cleveland ticket? probably not. any analysis of this game would be appreciated. I wouldn't mind being talked out of betting on hapless cleveland. Thank you

WEEK...What can I say. I considering cleveland too but crap..its the freaking chiefs in freaking arrowhead. Its a definite gamble but there is a trend/system I have discovered through out this season that I think may apply here.

When ever there is a really significant point jump between the week before and the present week its usually a bad sign for the favourite.
And when ever a dog from the week before is a dog by a far greater margin of points its a good sign for the cover.

This game qualifies in that situation
The chiefs are going from 3 point favs before the bye to 10 point fav. And the browns were 5-6 point dogs before the bye and are now 10 point dogs.

The situation here clearly favours the browns. I would really like this line if it were at 11, 10 aint bad but you know kansas is at least two scores better. With that being said, the game has cover written all over it. leaning towards the Browns

Bottom line to me is that I think only a small handful of teams can keep up in a shootout with the Chiefs AT Arrowhead -- Cleveland not being one of them.

I think Cleveland may keep it close for awhile, but I see KC running away and covering.....

So in a nutshell - I will be on KC minus whatever the points are at gametime.

I also like the Browns here. It is going to be tough for the Chiefs to keep their motivation starting this week with such an easy schedule. I like the fact that Browns have had two weeks to prepare as Butch Davis does a nice job in his preparation. With ball control, Browns can definitely stay within the points and might have a chance to pull the upset.

Bet on good teams coming off a bye week.

Bet against bad teams coming off a bye week.
