Two games really stick out today that everyone is jumping on and they should be betting the other way or not bet the game at all!

If you go to Scores and Odds, or some similar venue like Sports Insights, you'll see that the Bengals opened a 3 point favorite vs. the Ravens. Now all week long the line has moved the other way and the Ravens are now a 3 point fave. Probably the biggest suck in bet this week. Look at how both teams are playing. They are going in opposite directions.

Now the other game hasn't had that much line movementm but that in itself should scare the crap out of you. Anyone out there NOT betting the Colts....besides me of course? This line has stayed at Indy -3 all week except with changes in the money. Everyone knows the Colts are going to kick the Steelers arse! Finally today they had to move the line to 4.

So I don't care if you believe me or not...but you should always trust the odds maker!

Lol. He's saying Cincy and Pitt are the plays. Pretty clear. Linesmakers say Cincy is 3 points better at home… They took all the public money on Baltimore. Same thing with Pittsburgh, the linesmakers are more than fine letting the public load up on Indianapolis.

No way I can play Pitt until they SHOW me they are a good team. Team is inconsistent and would rather put my money on Colts. Good luck either way

Might as well add the Eagles to the list. Opened a 2.5 point dog and now it's pick. Zona is the play!

Should have named this Always Fade The Public. That seems to be the point here.

I've watched the way lines move for years and just because a line moves one way all of the sudden doesn't mean it's the lines makers knowing what they're doing....They move it to keep it even on both sides, they actually create opening lines by where they know they'll have money coming in on it. So the lines move due to the amount of money being put on one side, not because they know what they're doing.

Don't get me wrong they know their sh*t but the line moves so they get money on both sides of the plays. Imagine if they didn't move Denver from -7.5 after millions were put on them and it didn't go to -9 or -9.5 .... moving it to -9/-9.5 they get people (usually sharps) on the points.

that's only part of it, a team is favored on opening lines for a reason also, that's the point of this thread I guess. Public plays hit 50% at best after all.
