Hear are some early plays with more to follow!!!

7 Units NY Giants -7 -103

Detroit (3-2 SU, ATS) was not a pretty place for the Lions Sunday when they where demolished by the Packers 38-10. Joey Harrington completed 12 of 23 passes for just 101 yards with a TD and an interception. With a battered receiving corps, it looked like Harrington would have much-needed help when Roy Williams was activated despite a sprained ankle, but the rookie receiver was relegated to the sideline in full uniform because of concerns about making the injury worse. Williams is questionable this week. The backfield also didn't help Harrington, who ran for a team-high 12 yards. Detroit’s offense: 17.6 points, 227 total yards per game (76 yards rushing, 150 passing per game). That rushing attack is 2nd worst in the NFL. 3.2 yards per rushing attempt is also 2nd worst. The Giants (4-1 SU, ATS) are rested coming off their bye after beating Dallas 26-10 two weeks ago. Kurt Warner and Tiki Barber are playing error free ball while the defense leads the NFL in turnover margin. Injuries are a major factor for the Lions wide receivers so expect the G-Men to stay very close to Harrington and keep the pressure on. NY's offense: 20 points, 363 total yards pg (143 rushing, 220 passing per game) -- that rushing attack is No. 4 in the NFL. The Giants are well rested and clicking on all cylinders. The Lions are 2-0 SU/ATS on the road this season, after entering the season 0-24 SU/9-14-1 ATS on the road from 2001-03. Still, expect the worst for the Lions. The Giants are 4-1 featuring UNDERS, Lions are 3-2 UNDER so scoring will be at a minimum.

5 Units Minnesota Vikings OVER 53.5 -111

The Titans season is rapidly self-destructing after last weeks 20-10 loss to the Texans. The Texans did it with defense, intercepting four passes and sacking Steve McNair once. The loss dropped the Titans (2-4 SU, ATS) into sole possession of the AFC South cellar. The banged-up Titans played without starting right guard Benji Olson because of a strained groin. Shad Meier, their top tight end, was in a hospital after an emergency appendectomy Sunday morning. That forced coaches to scrap all their plays using two tight ends. The Titans had just 15 yards in the first quarter. They led only once, 7-3, after McNair's TD pass to Bennett. The Vikings had their way on Sunday when they defeated the Saints 38-31 in a game that wasn't that close. Daunte Culpepper threw five touchdown passes for an NFL-record third time this season and despite pressure from the Saints' defense, completed 26 of 37 passes for 425 yards. He threw two interceptions and was sacked twice. WR Randy Moss (hamstring) was lost just before halftime, and is questionable for this game. Minnesota is 8-2 SU, 6-4 ATS its last 10 games. Both teams are able to score and the Vikings defense has lacked intensity because of the high flying offense. Minnesota is 4-1 OVER the total this season. A busy scoreboard Sunday as the Viking ship has its sails heading downwind.

5 Units St Louis Rams -6 -103

The Rams have a lousy defense, but that won't matter against a pitiful Miami team that is the worst in pro football. St. Louis is 2-1 SU/ATS on the road where the offense is averaging 25 points per game. The Dolphins haven't even come close to 25 points in any game, with 13 points the highest total they've yet hit (twice). Miami dipped to a new low, their worst start in team history (0-6 SU, 1-5 ATS), failing to score while giving up interception returns for TDs, as the Buffalo Bills won their first game of the season 20-13 over the Dolphins. Things are so bad that Miami was matched with another winless team and still couldn't win. This is a team that played one of the worst defenses in the NFL on Sept. 19, and still lost to the Bengals 16-13. Miami is getting outscored by an embarrassing 18-9 average, which is truly unbelievable. The offense is averaging 69 yards rushing and 179 passing. LB Zach Thomas said this week, "The frustrating part is we're the worst team in the NFL. We're a joke on Jay Leno." Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt said, "Are you kidding me? In June, my only thought was how are we going to win 12 games. That was my thought process about 90 days ago." Even the Miami defense is slipping, sacking Buffalo QB Drew Bledsoe only once -- although he had been sacked 17 times in the three previous games! Frustration and unhappiness are everywhere in this locker room.

Go Giants.
But Vikings over 53 when Randy Moss is questionable? He's the reason they go over a lot.
Be careful on Miami. They are now in "fighting for respect" mode & all their lousy stats is like an oversold condition. Law of averages says they're not gonna stay this bad! Rams are a great team that plays down to their competition, & has an idiot at head coach that wastes timeouts, shrugs off turnovers & calls squib kicks for no reason. It's gonna be an ugly affair & i would be taking points at home against a possible false favorite, or passing on the game.
just wanted to toss a counterpoint. no offense

5 Units Green Bay Packers -3.5

Shades of yester year coming up on Sunday when the faultering Cowboys (2-3 SU, ATS) face the faultering Packers in Lambeau Field. The Cowboys suffered severe damage last week when the Steelers furious comback led to a 24-20 Cowboys loss. In the last minute, the Cowboys had one last chance to win with some razzle-dazzle. Dallas covered 30 yards on a pass and lateral that moved the ball to the Pittsburgh 30 with 1 second left. But Testaverde's final throw into the end zone fell incomplete. Dallas is 1-1 SU/ATS on the road this season and 5-6 SU/ATS under Parcells. Dallas also shook up their passing game a bit this week: After a Monday meeting with WR Antonio Bryant's agent about the wide receiver's diminished role, the Dallas Cowboys traded Bryant to the Cleveland Browns for WR Quincy Morgan. QB Brett Favre threw two touchdown passes and Darren Sharper scored off an interception to lead the Packers to a 38-10 win over the Lions. Favre was 25-of-38 for 257 yards. He extended his streak with a TD pass to 31 games. RB Ahman Green ran for 81 yards, the most against Detroit this season, and threw a 20-yard TD pass to Donald Driver. QB Vinny Testaverde has done a creable job so far but the 'Boys defense has fallen several notches since last year. Hard to believe, but the Pack is 0-3 SU/ATS at home this season, but Favre looked like he reverted to form last week. An interesting clash here with the Pack showing that they're back, at least for now. Dallas is allowing 123 yards rushing per game, a whopping 4.7 yards per carry, so RB Ahman Green and home field could be the difference.

5 Units Oakland Raiders -3 -112

Two of the worst run defenses in the NFL meet here. The Raiders are 19th in overall defense and 26th against the run, while the Saints are last in total defense and 31st against the run. The Saints have the advantage of getting out of town after a miserable home game, giving up over 600 yards in a 38-31 loss to the Vikings, in a game that really wasn't that close. New Orleans is 2-4 Su, 1-5 ATS overall and giving up 30 ppg on the road. This is a disorganized and lifeless Saints team under Jim Haslett. Oakland (2-4 SU/ATS) heard the boo-birds last week in an embarrassing 31-3 home loss to the Broncos. They allowed 254 rushing yards and have a minus-10 turnover ratio on the season. The catch here is that Oakland will be able to get out in front early against the Saints' miserable defense, which will take the pressure off QB Kerry Collins (2 TDs, 8 INTs). Oakland is 2-1 SU, 1-2 ATS at home. As bad as the Raiders are, the Saints are much worse.
