Here are today's selections. The late action will be up later.

7 Units Arkansas LR -3 -102

Sun Belt tourney game and it's a neutral site (Bowling Green, Kentucky). Wow -- this is certainly not the Semifinal game ANYONE expected. A couple of longshots meet in this one. The question is: How much energy is New Orleans going to have left in the tank? In last night's write-up for New Orleans/North Texas we concluded with, "recent history suggests a close game." It was close all right -- New Orleans squeezed out a 91-89 double-overtime win! Now less than 24 hours later New Orleans has to prepare for this Sun Belt Semifinal game after that marathon. New Orleans is 6-10 SU and 9-7 ATS on the road. The New Orleans Privateers (16-13) lack height and have strong guard play behind shooting guard Kyle Buggs (11 ppg) and 6'-2" senior Johnell Smith (14 ppg, 38% FGs). But they carry an 0-5 ATS run into this game. Ark-Little Rock (17-11 SU, 11-7 ATS) gives up 72 ppg on the road where they are 5-6 SU, 7-5 ATS. Arkansas Little Rock has plenty of offense, with a strong frontcourt of 6’-9” senior Jamal Holden (11 ppg, 4 rpg) and 6’-6” junior Rich Hardman (10 ppg, 6.6 rpg) and 6'-2" guard Brandon Freeman (13 ppg) as their leading scorer running the backcourt. Little Rock is playing well, winning 8 of the last 11 games (a 7-1-2 ATS run)! They're playing better defense, too, going 5-1 UNDER the total the last 6 games. Little Rock lost 100-95 at New Orleans on Feb. 7. But the bottom line is Little Rock is well rested, while New Orleans played a double OT game last night.

5 Units George Mason +4 (WON 54-55) +5.00 UNITS

#1 seeded VCU takes on George Mason. Both teams played and won yesterday. #1 seeded VCU (22-7) plays awesome defense, allowing 40% shooting and just 64 ppg. The Virginia-Commonwealth Rams have won 13 of 15 games behind a great 'D' and a tough frontcourt of 6’-6”, 300-lb senior center Troy Godwin (11 ppg, 7 rebounds pg) and 6’-6” sophomore Nick George (5.7 rpg), while senior point guard Domonic Jones (16 ppg) runs the break. They have beef in the frontcourt that gobbles up rebounds and makes it tough on opposing shooters. VCU is 10-5 SU/7-6 ATS on the road where they score and allow 64 ppg. VCU had an easy time yesterday, routing Old Dominion, 84-67, with five players scoring between 12-16 points -- talk about teamwork!!! George Mason is off an easy win, too, topping NC Wilmington 80-66 yesterday. The George Mason Patriots (21-8 SU, 16-11 ATS) are on a roll, winning 9 of their last 11 games. George Mason has good balance with 5’-9” junior Terry Reynolds (6.3 assists pg), 275-lb sophomore 6’-7” Jai Lewis (15 ppg, 7 rpg, 61% FGs), and 6’-5” swingman Mark Davis (16 ppg). GM is 9-7 SU/8-7-1 ATS on the road where they give up 74 ppg and score 71 ppg. Look for a tough, close, defensive battle as VCU plays great 'D' and this is the third game in three days for both teams.

Good Luck Today,

Allstar

JimFeistSux,
If I recall your the idiot that said rutgers was going to shave points against Va Tech and then they beat them by 40. Your a clown and you don't belong in this forum. You high-tailed it out of here after that post and it took a month for you to come back..

Drunkin,
Name calling???? Shaving???? Hey where in Jersey are you?? Guess word got out that I had info on the game, was relayed to certain people and funny Rutgers won by 40, 50 the next game too! I Feel posters should pick and analyze their OWN games not COPY a PRO'S picks word for word! At least change a word or two! Do you REALLY think if I had info I'd share it with a ****ing Moron like you!
