Alajuela/Cartago game last night

Did anybody see the game last night. Absolutely uncalled for the way these players from Cartago reacted. Especially when the ref got pushed, then pushed on the ground. The fine for 3 players I believe was only 70,000 colones and a 3 game suspension. IMO, they should have got more. I am from the Cartago area, but have been a Ligista for a while. A total of 5 red cards

Never seen that before. Just wondering yalls opinions on the game.

That was a lack of professionalism and respect for the sport.The should be charge a worse fine.
I just could not believe what I was watching.

Unbelievable, a total joke.
But, there is one thing i still don't get.
i understand la liga getting the points for the game, that's ok but how the hell can they get a 3-0 win when they only scored 1 goal.
At the end those extra 2 goals can make a big difference.

thats the rule, its done to discourage people from pulling that kind of shit, not only that but Alajuelas goal is credited to Bryce but Cartagos goal is not credited to Ciccia because his team violated the "rules", really an embarrasment...

Thanks for the response. This is the first time I've seen something like this happen in soccer. Just imagine what the fines and suspensions would be if this was Football, Baseball, etc etc... BIG FINES

I do not like soccer very much, but found myself unable to change the channel as I wasn't at home. The soccer match I thought was pretty cool after all. There was pushing and shoving, people being thrown out of the game. Red cards, people yelling and a guy on the ground that I thought was running the show. HA - all they needed were either sticks, pads or gloves. I couldn't have been happier to watch that soccer match.

The ref did not do ONE single thing wrong. Im glad he didnt back away from those punks. Cartago, you can kiss my ass,you just cursed yourself another 100 years with that shit.

When was the last time Cartago won it all? I think it was something like 1940, but I am not sure.

Thanks for the quick response and welcome to the Rx. Man, thats a long time ago, but they do have the Red Sox beat. I am originally from Boston and they haven't won since 1918

Lets see what happens this year
