Word out of Tuscaloosa is that starting QB Brodie Croyle WILL NOT play against Georgia this weekend even though he is listed as "Probable". He seperated his non-throwing shoulder in either the Kentucky or Oklahoma game and has aggravated it every game thereafter. You may recall that Spencer Pennington had to played the last series of the first half which resulted in a game-tying field goal for Bama. You may also recall that Bama got into field goal range not on the strength of Pennington's arm, but on a foolish personal foul penalty! Playing in friendly Bryant-Denny Stadium against Arkansas is one thing, playing against the Bulldogs in Athens is quite another. Folks, as much as it pains me to say this, expect Spencer Pennington to get mauled by the Bulldogs between the hedges!
