I'm sensing Aggie fans everywhere are bolstered, rightfully so, by their team's gallant, gut wrenching effort in the Ag's latest away outing. One that fell short only on the scoreboard. At home last week, Ags were all out to get by Tx Tech in OT. Texas won at Tech by 30.

The Horns are one of two teams in the nation to rush for over 300 ypg. They rank top 12 in the nation in total offense and scoring. Our sophomore QB remains on the improve. Two games back, Young was 18 of 22 for 279 yards. (two picked, one tipped) The Horns limited OU to a season-low 12 points. (Sooner's next lowest is 28 points, lit A&M up for 42) UT has won last four meetings, by an average of 25 ppg.

Must admit, Reggie McNeal has game. Still, Ag's D is allowing over 29.0 ppg average last five games. Past Crews are hanging their heads.

Nicky,

I just saw this line, and to tell you the truth, I'm shocked it is so high. I think aTm has a great shot at the outright win. Texas is overrated, and they always have been. This talented Aggie team will be as fired up for this game, like they were for Oklahoma.
I am on aTm SU & ATS. :banger: :banger: :banger:

MM, Aggies come into every Texas game fired up. By mid-third the fire tends to lessen. My take on A&M/OU game. The Aggies always seem to have one huge home game in them every season, no matter what their record. Btw, shocked? Spread the word. Ags win SU. Let's get this thing down to three.

Ags lost last road "at nobody loses to" Baylor. And I realize that game falls under "on any given day"....but still.

I'm locked into my pick. Have to wait for the game now.

Bol with all of your other plays.

Nicky,

You said, The Horns are one of two teams in the nation to rush for over 300 ypg.

Name one rusher that played the Aggies this year and beat his or kept his rushing average the same. My point is that when the Aggies slow down the rush, it will force the horns to throw and I have not seen one decent pass from Young yet. Oh, maybe the throw for the final TD to beat Kansas when yall were favored by over 20. I will say this Oklahoma and Texas have both looked beatable. A&M will go ahead early in the game similar to Oklahoma State. What happens after that, nobody knows!

You mentioned the horns limited OU to a season-low 12 points. You did not mention the horns scored 0 against them when the Aggies scored 35 against them. The Sooner's got lucky and only lit up our secondary with White throwing td pass after td pass. Like I said Young has not proved himself yet and I look forward to seeing Mack change quarterbacks to throw the ball to catch up.

A&M will use this game as a building point to win next years Big 12. Most of the team is made up of freshman and sophs and we were able to pull this year out after last year. Look for A&M to be in the top 10 this year and look for Texas to play somewhere out of the BCS bowls this year as the Ags pull the upset.

Gemba, No doubt my post is heavily slanted to Texas. Will check back in post-game.

(though I live in Austin, I'm not a Aggie hater. Pull for them every chance I get, won on 'em last week)

Suprise suprise...more UT bashers...

Keep it simple...

Texas is a running team this year, and has been all year. Teams HAVE stacked the box on us, and Benson STILL has his numbers. Teams havn't been able to stop the run. The only one to do so is OU, and we still had over 100 yards rushing. That argument is null and void.

Gregg Davis admittingly held back our offense against OU. He played conservative on purpose, thinking it could be won in the trenches. We never threw the long ball once. That w/ 2 red-zone turnovers = no points.

Our entire staff knows what this game means (rivalry, BCS, etc) and will play aggressively to win.

Brown has francione's number anyway.

I can't believe people still say they havn't seen VYoung make on good throw all year. Keep thinking that, and take A&M for that reason, and see da money burn..

Texas at home is money. Bye week to prepare is money. You don't think we have some tricks up our sleeves do you?

I am not a UT fan, but it looks like they are doing their usual dance....look good early in the season (except against Arkansas!), lose to OU, then win out. IMHO, A&M is very similar to TTech this year (high-powered offense, average defense). UT rolled Tech in Lubbock, wouldn't be surprised to see the Horns win by 21+ in Austin. I have pulled for the Aggies all year and would love to see them work some magic against their in-state rival Horns, but I don't see it happening in Austin. GL
