How so?

How things have changes huh fellas?

The dominance of NE INDY PIT CHARGERS in the past years far outweighed NFC but not anymore eh?

Jets would win vs the Giants.

Right now?

It would be a one possession game. I said the Jets would win because that's my team, who would have home advantage?
What would the line be? Giants -3 i believe.

No question NY Giants would be at a minimum a 6 point favorite against the Jets and that may be a tad low.

Doesnt matter anyway as the Steelers are going to breeze thru the AFC and they will be a 2.5 to 3 point dog against the Giants.

What happened last year? You mean the Pats played by far their worst game of the year and let the Giants hang around long enough for a guy to trap a 4th down pass against his helmet to scrape by with a FG to win it?

To say that they're going to kick anyone's ass in the SB is pretty ignorant, i think.

ignorant? probably. But you cannot deny the Giants are clearly the best team in the NFL at this point in the season and would be nothing less than a 4 pt favorite in the super bowl against any team out of the AFC.

As for the Super Bowl last year... the Pats were clearly overmatched. The Giants knew if they pressured Brady they would keep their offense off balance and thus forcing them out of their element. The fact that you think the Pats played their worst game is ludicrous. No they werent as dominating an offense as they usualy were all season, but the Giants knew how to beat them and they did. They were clearly the better team that day and you know it. The Pats had no answer for them, it wasnt because they had a bad day, they were overmatched against a better, more confident squad. 18-1, thanks again for coming.

They may be the best team in the league, but it's not like they're head and shoulders above anyone else.

And sorry bud i'm not going to get into the 18-1 talk, but if you had watched the 18 Pats games before the SB, it was pretty obvious that it was their worst game played all season.

The Jets will beat the Giants? Please, the Jets won't even win a playoff game and I'd bet on that with anyone that wanted to do so. The Jets are just as big of a fraud as the Titans. I would still take the Pats, Colts, Steelers and Chargers (yes, the 4-7 chargers) to beat the titans and jets in the playoffs. All four teams are better imo and will be proved so in the playoffs.

As for the line I would put it at NFC -4 right now as I think the Cowboys, and Giants would both be favored in the Super Bowl by at least that much. The Cards are players for the Super Bowl this year also, as well as the Bucs and Skins.

Don't write the Giants in as champs yet folks, because imo Dallas is better when fully healthy and would beat them in the playoffs. I have underestimated the Giants this year though so I could be wrong, but I personally don't see them as the class of the league just yet. They proved something by beating the Cards though as the Cards may be a top 5 team this year, and at the very least a top 8 team.

Agree with this post. NE had the Super Bowl last year even though they played their worst, or one of their worst games. It took an incredible play for them to lose. How Manning was not only able to escape that pressure, but get a decent pass off and have Tyree catch it like that I'll never know. Just an incredible play that decided the game. New England was not only the best team in the NFL last year, but I still see them as one of the best teams of all time. They'd be in my top 3 for sure with the 85 Bears and probably the 72 Dolphins. Pats just lost because of poor play when it mattered most, and a fluke catch.

I would love to see a Giants/Pats rematch for the Super Bowl this year and have Cassel be MVP. Not a ridiculous thought either with how he's been playing.

No they aren't.
Break it down, offense, defense, special team, etc. etc. etc.
Giants are the better team, if not the superior team.

The Giants come at you in waves, Eli, Boss, Toomer, Plaxico, Jacobs, etc. etc. etc.

Hey, I am not denying the Jets success this season, but a lot of Jet fans need to get off the green Kool-Aid.

You're fucking ignorant, you Pats homer. Giants MADE the Pats look bad you idiot. Their defense was on a mission to crush Brady and MAKE him look bad, and they did. So what if a guy caught the ball with his helmet, that's part of the game. YOU LOST! SO GET OVER IT!

Did you even watch the Super Bowl?

The Giants won that game because they kept the NE offense in check. Brady couldn't stand in the pocket for 10 hours and wait for Moss to get open 70 yards down field. That was all he did the entire season up until the SB. I watched many NE games where Brady could stand there as long as he needed to wait until Moss got open.

The Tyree catch might have been lucky as hell, but the fact that the Giants were only down by 4 says a TON. NE blew every other team out of the water and the Giants kept them to only 2 scores.

No offense but the Giants dominated that game last year. New England looked like shit because the Giants defense made them look that way. They were lucky to beat the Giants to end the season.

I hope you are right, but there are certain teams that are nightmares for the Steelers, NE and Indy especially.

I think Pitt would beat teams like Denver, SD, the Jets, and the Titans, but Indy and NE are two teams that could knock off the Steelers.

So let me get this straight. I'm "fucking ignorant" and an "idiot".

The Pats and particularly the O-line played their worst game of the season, that is not debatable. They didn't come ready to play. Sorry if that takes away from the Giants' win, it shouldn't cause in the end of the day they beat an 18-0 team.

And to the guy who asked, yeah i did catch the game, thanks.
