Got lucky with outright winner 76ers. They overcame large deficit, but Celtics not a good measuring stick. Taking it slow, have a lot to learn quickly. Had the matchups tonight. But so much movement, so many new teams. Reinvent the wheel once more. But it is the best % sport for me lately. The only way I cap everything is to throw out tough games fast. Well scorecard 1-1, but +1.9 units as weighted plays saved the day. Brick Van Exel got me again. He seems to find a way to burn his old teams, but wears out his welcome faster than a hooker with herpes. Games very similar, both home teams had chances to tie, Dunleavy bricked for Warriors, Glove bricked for Celtics. Either way, learning a lot, upgrading and downgrading power numbers radically. Upgraded chalk types, Mavs, Heat, Spurs, and Pacers. Mid level, Jazz, and Suns. Sleepers 76ers, Knicks, Clips. Downgraded chalk, Rockets, Nets, Lakers. Bottom feeders, Hawks, Sonics, Hornets. One huge question mark, Grizz. What happened to them? My power numbers move a lot faster than the usual capper. But after 6 to 7 contests they will settle.
Numbers not hitting, except couple of totals, Suns dropped dead middle. Game I missed moving from 191 1/2, back past opener. Do not miss often, but had to do an electrical walk through for my sis in law. Hate leaving the screen. But it shows numbers on teams off, and no time to tease yet. Spurs railed, on the downward move. Tonight I watch the Bobcats. They get shorthanded Wizzards, who upset toothless Grizz. Used to be a great spot, shorthanded team, coming off road upset, back to back 2nd leg on road. Still, Bobcats huge unknown. Another spot yesterday, Jazz. Lakers B2B, shorthanded by roster. Missed laying 3 1/2. Was done at the half. Lakers are just about one man show. PG's very weak, big men hurt. Pushed around Nuggets at home, got backhanded on road.
Biggest injury so far, Voshon for Nuggets. Whenever a player goes down, my first thought is who can fill his role. On the Nuggets, he is their only outside threat. The rest are slashers/penetrators. Without him keeping defenses honest, spacing gets condensed. Packed in, like the Lakers did, stops easy penetration to off balance runners. Biggest addition besides Shaq, to a contender, Barry to Spurs. One missing ingrediant to title last year. Spacing is way better, and he is deadeye from the arc. Opens up lane for Timmy. They should be favored to win it all. Getting busy with weekend upcoming. Best Wishes...OF
