Road Warrior today, so no time for real write-ups. Not sure how useful they are as I have been very average this season...

Really like this total, as both teams are playing their best ball of the season. State allowing 48 % from the field and scoring at about the same clip lately. Both teams are decent from the foul line and both teams have the resources to get their enough. GT should pound the ball inside and I expect State to exploit their advantage in the backcourt. NCS should have no match-up for Lawal and GT has nothing for Fells. I see this game in the high 140's

As far as the points, GT shouldnt be laying more than a posession to anyone in conference. I think this game is a pick'em and I will take all the odds I can get in a coinflip. GT is playing everyone too close to be expected to cover this number. I see state by 3 but I could see the points being a factor.

Taking the better team getting points. Maryland 1-4 in conference as a favorite and VT has a massive edge in the paint in this game. Think the tenacity of VT wins out. Maryland 4-5 in conference but those wins are GT (2x, UVA and Miami). These are two teams on different tiers in the conference and I think VT continues their tourney push today and wins outright...

Strong Play

Not buying the automatic bet Wake @ home, fade on the road philosophy. Wake is 2-4 in their last 6 games and has definately hit the wall. To take them laying this number against a very tough and physical FSU team seems to be a stretch. FSU is playing every game tough @ this point and has a team built to grind out close games. I think Douglas gives Teague fits today and as a result the Wake offense never gets on track. FSU doesnt score alot but they do a good job controlling the tempo of games and frustrating opposing offenses into poor possessions. For a Wake team in a funk this is a bad matchup for them. I think this game is tight the whole way and I am very happy to take the 8.5.

absolutely. Not calling it like I saw in the Clemson game last Saturday but right now they are playing better ball and they have a style that gives Wake fits. Think this Wake team peaked too early and is in for a dogfight today. I just see this one being a 3 point game either way with a few minutes left and the breaks @ the end deciding the winnner.

On Virginia Tech and Florida St. too. Thinking of going VT ML, but you know how that works. FSU has kept every game close as even when the losses they haven't gotten blown out.
