ACC heavy, not FSU, MIA or V Tech..its the Cavaliers!

The Cavaliers are the team to beat in the all new Atlantic Coast Conference, this coming football season...In fact I believe Virginia Tech may finish near the bottom of the league...

The Cavaliers are loaded at running back and return 17 starters on a team that was peaking late last season...the defense is loaded (front 7 in particular)...the only real question mark is replacing QB Matt Schaub...

Key game ; game 6 @ FSU..Virginia should be 5-0 at that time, if the beat FSU they could be looking at Jan 1 Bowl Game....late season home game with Md and Mia give the Cavs a legit shot at a BCS bid...

finally beating a VaTech team in a swan dive (lost 4 of L5) is hard to erase the two DD loses they took in Nov to NCSU and Maryland

Wali Lundy is a solid RB & they've got some pretty good guys backing him up that will get some time .... and their TE might be their best offensive threat, but even he won't be a huge threat if Hagans falters early --- he's got a chance, but I'd be reluctant to hitch my wagon to that horse and start talking BCS bid

their OL looks pretty solid ... but other than the RBs, I don't see too many WRs that will keep DC's up late at night

they'll be formidable, but can Hagans shoulder the load???

if you even put a dollar on virginia you are nuts. i'm sure i will have virginia at some point, but i will hate every minute of it. bol
