I like this matchup for Nebraska (I will be at the game tonight). For the most part, Nebraska plays 5 guards (we start a center named Ballam but he SUCKS and only plays about 5 minutes a night). Doc (our coach) has them playing really hard but if we aren't shooting well, we look terrible on offense. Throw it around the 3 point line until we get an open shot, repeat over and over. Rarely if ever do we throw it inside and the same goes for driving to the basket unless we are in transition.

The 9.5 to me seems really high again because we go long stretches without scoring but agree with your that our defense is pretty good. St Louis doesn't have any really good big players (that I know of) so we won't get hurt on the inside like some teams in the Big XII (specifically Oklahoma) will kill us. They recently beat Boston College but lost in OT to Kent state. All their games have been close, this might be the same type of game.

Good luck on your wager

I'd be careful in approaching this game...St.Louis has an all-leaguer in Kevin Lisch and a nice compliment in Tommy Liddell. Throw in a great coach in Rick Majerus and the Billikens can be a dangerous team when catching such a big number. St. Louis is also a team that loves to play in the 50s and 60s and that is there only chance in keeping this game close. Since Nebraska doesn't exactly have an explosive offense I'd actually take the points in this one. St. Louis is allowing 53 ppg this year and Nebraska is allowing 49 pts a game...I dont see this game getting out of the 50s or 60s and I just feel that 10 points is a huge amount of points in a game thats going to be in that range...BOL though..just my two cents

Can Nebraska score 10 points?

Are you really paying money to go watch this game, I would almost want to go to an NBA a game as much as I would want to see SLU play Neb. Again, I said almost, I would still rather see SLU vs Neb.

I feel this number is a little high. I can't play SLU here, but won't lay the points here either.

No play for me.

Alumni, donor, yes I will go watch them and pay for it. If we can somehow get a decent big man, Nebraska will be good for the next couple years (good is relative, maybe get into the tournament good).

You can always buy off it and just lose the vig, if you want.

Good call! Nebraska played pretty well again. Still have their stretches where they don't score for awhile...

Huge game on Saturday against Creighton (2 instate schools, yes in Nebraska!)
