from what i know locally the books have been getting their asses handed to em, and a sportsbook host friend in vegas told me that it has not been a good year at all, public money has been killing them. 13 out of 20 favs so far!

Baddest beat i had prob was the marshall east carolina game couple of yrs ago.east carolina gets out 33 to nothing up 10 with 10 mins and still loses in 3 or 4 ots frickin leftwich, but thats a story for another thread.

Here's a classic: About 10 years ago, I have Hawaii at home versus BYU getting 12-13 points. BYU is up 10 late and running out the clock. The BYU RB busts a run to the Hawaii 5 with about 5-6 seconds left. He is tackled - I think the game is over. Inexplicably some jackass on Hawaii calls timeout. BYU does not take a knee and runs it in on the final play to cover - Still my worst ever.

i was on that ot gamew as well, but i remebered getting dbl digits -- like +11. thast was about as bad as it gets. except, my neighbor....
....about 12 years or so ago he had lost his ass all weekend, and went dbl or nothing on monday nite (against my advice). the total was 44 1/2, the score 44-0 half time -- he was dancing in my garage. final score 44-0, with three missed gf's in the second half!!! he never bet again.

i can't remember the teams, perhaps, someone out there can remember this game??
