He seems to have given the Green Bay Packers a new offensive dimension to support Aaron Rodgers resurgence during the Packers past 7 game winning streak. He looked great against the Lions last Sunday (6 carries averaging 6.8 yards) Could he make the difference against the NYG next Sunday ? The Giants have been a thorn in the Packers side during recent play-off game(s).....all at Lambeau.....(in the cold weather).

I haven't been following the Giants defensive play this year. The game-time temperatures at Green Bay will be in the low single digits (the wind chill faactor will be colder) )which will play havoc with the offensive play on both sides......Will this favor the Giants?

Its a wash as far as im concerned. Both teams play in cold weather. Wisconsin a little colder, NY a bit more windy.

I think the Giants defense is a top 3 defense. Top tier against the run and top tier if not the best red zone defense. 2nd behind Pats in PPG and that's with an offense that punts way more than the Pats do. They give up a lot between the 20s that's why their middle of the PAC in yards against receiving, but the combo of Jenorce Jennings who is a top 3 corner in the league and DRC and DPOY candidate Landon Collins, and 1st round pick Eli Apple who is super fast tbIs certainly is a top tier defense back field.

its going to come down to three things

1.) can the Giants establish a running game,
2.) will the Giants be able to limit AR extending the play with his legs
3.) will ELI throw the key INT

Whoever takes two of three wins the game.

MedicalMary.....Your points are well founded......The weather will be a "wash" especially with the heated turfs and benches along with those Alpaca-lined sideline 'jackets the players wear now days.

There is no doubt about the capabilities of the Giant defense and the fact that Rodgers is on a roll playing (and passing) with confidence again. I brought up Riptowsksi's running game which seemed to have given Rodgers some added options which were on display at Detroit last week I also agree that the team that throws the fewest interceptions wins the game.....I lean (under the number)....(45)...I've seen what these cold-weather games can do to football games especially at night (a 4;40 EST kick-off)....the lights will be on at Lambeau....wind-chill.....(-5 degrees).

Yeah weather is a wash as long as there is no wind...that would favor ARod since Eli no good w wind.

One huge issue for the Giants has been the running game, but rookie Paul Perkins has been coming on. I've liked him since mid season and he is way more effective than Rashad Jennings. If he gets the start, he can give them a huge boost. I think he may be the difference.

The key to the Packers offense is Rodgers' ability to move around in the pocket until receivers get open downfield. With Jenkins back in the secondary, the Giants front will be able to generate pressure on A-Rod and this secondary will be able to keep up with the key Packers receivers. The Packers O-line is not as solid as in the past, and I believe you will see A-Rod more uncomfortable than you have the last several games winning streak.

The dopey pick factor is always there, but Eli does better in limiting those in the playoffs than in the regular season.

I will definitely be playing Giants +5 (current line), and hope it continues to move up and play higher numbers as well.

Which NFL team has two wins against the team with by far the best o-line in football? Now put that defense up against a mediocre o-line in a pressure filled game with the season on the line.
