Again, that's just the way it is gents.
As usual when all the attention is one-sided, as it was with the home team in this game, the outcome is usually very bad or shall I say unfavorable.
As I mentioned before, when the O-line and the QB can't give it that little extra push to gain a couple of feet during the course of the potential winning drive and with all the money on that particular team as well, you definitely have to wonder what goes on behind closed doors.
Next week, my coin is heading to BC as they get revenge against the Eskimoes, who were lucky to grab the home field win this week.
As for the rematch at Taylor Field next week, fuck it and fuck those two teams. After last night's fiasco (and that's exactly what it was along with the result), I wouldn't lay a cent on either one of these clubs when they play against one another.
However you know it wouldn't surprise me at all if Calgary goes in and wins at Taylor with all the money sitting on Saskatchewan's bench.
Seriously though, BC is the play next week and, if needed, they will push for and obtain that first down if required late in the game, unlike the suspicious Stampeder effort last night.
