I went back and searched your posts and failed to find similar panic about George Bush adding more to the national debt in 8 years than all 42 presidents before him combined.

Or, perish the thought, is it only a problem for you now because there's a Democrat in the White House?

With all due respect...I wasn't happy about the spending under Bush. But it was still manageable. We can argue about that for sure...but I made my points.

This is something way way way beyond anything we have ever seen.

I think you are the one now sweeping it under the rug based on your politics.

This is madness to quadruple it yet again...can anyone really try to justify this?

saving fiat and boosting the fed is one thing...socializing auto, banks, healthcare is another.

can just see pelosi, harry, ben and obama holding hands chanting "must save fiat" while ron paul is wasting his time whining to msnbc

easy. they have only so much time to live under the "blame it on bush" umbrella so they need to implement as many special interest and social programs now so that years from Feb '09 they can still point the finger at #43.

In 2015 when they look back at quadrupling the deficit in the first 6 months of 2009 they can simply state they needed to take drastic measures to undo all the bad that dubya did. In the meantime the're greasing the right palms to insure future votes and stacking up the "favors" these lobbyists will owe them in the future. Just another way the two party system double fists us little citizens

Amazing! You sure spent endless hours defending the deficit as being not a bad thing in your arguments with Fletch.

What is being swept under the rug is that we have the deficit in the first place because Bush created the deficit with his stupid wars and idiotic cut taxes but spend even more policies!

Now the same fools who were advocating for reducing government revenue are the same fools crying about the deficit Obama faces one month into taking office.

There are stupid claims and dumb opinions people have, you sir a good example of a partisan fool more interested in hiding his demagogues serious short comings and bashing a guy just because he is a democrat.

You are pathetic for such silly childish games.

But hey..What do i care. I am plenty pleased that fools like Jindal, Palin, Bachman are leading your party down the same road that has taken them to the neighborhood of complete total irrelevance.

Keep on making your silly little posts while the rest of the country works hard at pulling out of the mess the republicans put us into.

Jindal/Palin 2012 baby!

that's all indirectly related to saving fiat

it ain't about helping the little guy out like the lefties think and its end goal isn't being socialists like the righties think

in times such as these every move is related to one thing saving the banking system, fiat, federal reserve etc...all leads back to that

the socialism so alot of UE'd J6Ps at least still has food on the table, roof over his head, etc....

instead of hitting the streets and causing social unrest and such

like which is what has happened/happening in iceland, ireland, ukraine, greece, hungry, to name a few

icelands fiat already went down

^ um, dude, Clinton's mythical "surplus" was a cook-the-books smoke-and-mirrors trick.

You can't seriously think the Democrats are gonna be any better, Obama is spending $800 billion this year on the military.

Wanna bet on ho much of that is looted, wasted, put in offshore bank accounts?

over/under 100 billion?

Why would you waste time responding to some fool advocating for the eradication of Fiat?

Thats like accosting a half naked bum hold up a sign reading "The end is Nigh" and trying to talk sense into him.

Just let the lunatic babble on (i doubt he even has a grasp of what the hell he is talking about. Just parrotting something is smart because he heard it from Ron Paul)

I dont know about you, but i aint working for any bank and nothing Obama said to the public woud lead me to believe this nonsense..

(you might as well have gone with Jindal's magic maglev train to disney world..may be i could have believed that nonsense)

Everything i work for is for me and my family. Go find some moron joe the plumber to feed that b/s to.

Ps..While you are at it, take time out to go get our billions wasted by Bush on no bid contracts for his buddies, or bail outs for banks that ended up as bonuses for CEOs, or the billions he blew supposedly helping out katrina victims and the massive debt he run us into.

After you do that, we can then worry about the so called trillions obama is giving to banks! (what a dunce!)

let me clue you in here noobie moron

tiz, like anyone with half a brain, understands that printing money that is backed by nothing equals inflation. printing trillions backed by nothing equals hyperinflation

the fed's not going anywhere...we all know that, but that's exactly what Tiz's original post about "save the fiat" was all about

I'll type it more slowly if that helps you understand?

The Myth of the Clinton Surplus

required reading for brain-dead Democrats

don't forget about part II http://www.craigsteiner.us/articles/30
:)

KK, as we've discussed time and time again the lefties here like to speak anecdotally because evidence slaps all of their arguments in the face. No socialist will read your article just like they'll refuse to admit Bubba's CRA amendments created the housing bubble, no matter how much proof you provide.

$25, 573.48 - what Barack Obama's budget will cost each taxpayer

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/toby_h..._barack_obamas_budget_will_cost_each_taxpayer

So how much will President Barack Obama's budget cost us? The projected 2010 budget of $3.552 trillion can be found on page 114 of the "New Era of Responsibility" budget here.

The US Census bureau estimates that the current US population is 304,059,724. Dividing the $3.552 trillion by that gives us close to the $11,833 that Drudge came up with. ABC's Jake Tapper reports that there wil be $989 billion in new taxes over the next decade.

I'm an American taxpayer and the starkest figure is what this could cost me. The latest figure I could find for the number of US taxpayers is 138,893,908 returns in 2007 here. By my reckoning, that's $25, 573.48 each.
