We have a forgiving GOD. Is their a chance that Scott Peterson will be re-united with his wife after he is killed by the judicial system? Would our forgiving GOD forgive him and bring them back together?

Just thinking out loud.

Thanks

General, not sure I buy into thre theory of relationships in the after life. i subscribe more to the theory of a universal mind which links all of are souls together. As to the forgiveness aspect, I would think it would be dependant on remorse for ones deeds. That is not something I have seen from Mr. Peterson.

General- good thoughts and good question. One of the things that I fall back on for myself is "even if I die not knowing exactly what I believe, at least I have a good heart and have never killed anyone." The fact that he can't say that should scare him. In my mind, he should go to hell, but the Bible says that nothing is beyond the forgiveness of God. I don't know what true repentance would be in this case, but it seems like it would have to be more than, "God, I'm sorry, that was a stupid thing for me to do."

He will if he repents his Sins and he accepts The Lord Jesus Christ as His Saviour. If she did not do the same in her life before she died, she would not be there anyway...since this is the only way you will be accepted into Heaven, according to the Bible.

I think if I remember correctly, somewhere in the Bible it says that there are no marraiges or relationships in Heaven, we are just drawn to the purpose of worshiping the Lord and we all treat each other lke brothers and sisters in Christ.

So all we gotta do is repent our sins and accept JC to get into heaven?
Wow if that doesnt have bullshit written all over it , nothing does.
Is it just me or it sounds way to easy, fairy tale-like

general, the bible clearly teaches that murder is not beyond redemption. in fact, there is no sin beyond the grace of God...if there were, that would mean that some sins are more powerful than God's ability to forgive.

the apostle paul, perhaps the greatest missionary of all time, was a murderer before his conversion. in his letters he used himself as an example all the time as being a great sinner who was shown much grace and lived his life in gratitude for all the mercy he was shown. i do not think it was an accident that someone with a very violent past ended up being the cheif spokesman for Christianity after Christ was crucified and ressurected.

i have heard that jeffrey dahmer repented of his sins and turned to Christ before his death in prison. was this conversion legit? no one knows that except for him and God. the bible says that no one is beyond redemption...that goes for dahmer, peterson, o.j., etc. i for one am thankful that there is no limit to God's forgiveness. if there were, how could i be sure that i was "forgivable"?

as far as your question about whether or not its possible that scott and lacy will be "reunited in heaven"...check out luke chapter 20 verses 27-47. think that may answer your question.
