I'm going back to Vegas in August! I've been many times but this time I'm married and bringing the wife, so In and out burger or all you can eat pizza off the strip is not going to cut it this time around. I'm looking for a good steak, on the strip, at a nice restaurant for less than $60 per steak. Any thoughts, suggestions, recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Paris has a good steak for the price, about $50 person. Its right under the Eiffel Tower so if you sit outside there is a nice view of the Bellagio Fountains. The meal feels like it should cost alot more than it really does and its a romantic setting so great place to take the old lady.

Woman love Mon Ami Gabi at Paris, look up the menu, go a bit off peek hours if you can, chances of getting a good table on the terrasse are improved, make reserv. and have a nice time.

Women I've taken to Lavo at the Palazzo have really liked that also, go through the pics, the sitting area outside is cool and creates a romantic ambience, but you'll have to check the menu to see if that works for you

Great cheap steaks are at CARVE but that's on Boulder highway off the strip, so if you get a rental car that's the best option.

But if you must be on the strip I would suggest Mona mo gabi As others have.

Or head down to Ellis Island for decent food for super cheap

How is Sinatra?

that's where Huskygal wants to go when we see a show at the Wynn

only dinner reservation I've made so far

Since we're staying at the Paris, I'm definitely doing Mon Ami Gabi since two residents recommended it

last off strip place I tried was musahshi japanse steakhouse...don't know if the guy cooking for us was full of it, but he said floyd mayweather comes in all the time and was there the week before and after the fight....said his body guards often order two meals

meal was good but not greatest ambiance....pretty small place and in a strip mall, but I'll be back for sure

So based on the replies and past threads looks like I'm going to

1) Mon Ami Gabi
2) Circus Circus
3) Smith and Wollensky
4) Gallagher's

Thanks for all the responses! It's greatly appreciated! We can have a nice steak dinner every night and still have money to gamble with!

Its about a $25 ride to Carve (each way), but it is one of my favorite places to get a great steak.... but still a distant 2nd to Golden Steer

And for the price... man its amazing... Its less than $35 a person!!!

Brought 5 people with me once (6 including myself) and with wine, appetizers, steaks/Prime rib all around, the total bill was only $260ish after all was said and done!

and its inside the Eastside Cannery

The Eastside Cannery is a nice stop for advantage gamblers, and Carve, as stated, is very good.

But back on the strip, CIRCUS would be my top choice.........in fact, there is no other place in the valley I enjoy going to and having a steak.........love the atmosphere, the service, and the NY steak is always delicious.

(The best steak I've had in the city is the top filet at Oscars at the Plaza)......its $55 ala carte if one doesn't have a comp.
