If a man/woman is friends with or hangs out socially with a known thief in this business, does that make him/her a thief or a lesser person as well?

Thanks

imo no but you have to remember that you are judged by the company you keep by many in the world.

LOL Steve.

I am pretty much a hermit really. Not many daily contacts in person other than family. Just an interesting question I thought of and one that many in this undustry need to ask themselves.

Only if that man generally despises theft, General.

All we can ask for is consistency. If theft doesnt bother a person, then them hanging around thieves is not a big deal. If a person comdemns theft, they should not be hanging around known people violating their stances on the matter.

General, I can read through you like glass ...

the only man/woman on this forum is ID (ok, and occassionally Dicky's mom).

You should be more considerate to ID and not talk about it behind it's back.

If you're sleeping with a dog with fleas....sooner or later the fleas will find their way onto you.

It doesnt make em a thief, not at all but it makes you go hmmmmm....

Then again, no one's a saint so its difficult, most important thing is, dont rush to conclusions.

I've got friends that range from former elected officials to former convices ( and some are both ).... the bottom line is that a person needs to understand that you're judged a lot of times by the company you keep. Is this fair? Not really, but Slim's post has merit. It's hard to keep one's rep clean if you're continually hanging around dirt. I have friends from all walks of life because I don't judge people by what they have or who their parentns were. I try to judge them by how they treat me.... and by how I percieve they treat others.
