this is probably not kosher and if this is against the rules feel free to move me to the rubber room or ban me

desperately looking for a local in the LA/OC area who takes nba/ncaab/mlb/ncaaf/nfl. typical bet sizes are 50-100 for basketball, 20-50 for baseball, 250-1000 for football. don't really care about the settlement structure. ideally, a weekly settlement regardless of amount, like my old guy had, but at this point, anything is cool. no payment plans or any of that bullshit.

if you are a local or you know one who is looking for business let me know.

and now, please flame away, hopefully there are some good one liners coming:

Can you ask your old guy? Usually books know several other books.

call the different 'credit books' (you can find them in here) and ask if they can hook you up with a local in your area. most likely they can take your number and pass it on.

BigM, I'm a local who is hooked up at an online book. I live right on the OC/LA border (Downey). Shoot me an email and I'll set you up with an account.

Let me warn you though: every client I've ever set up on these forums has stiffed me for money. So I'm going to be really careful with this. You have a good track record at the RX and you seem to bet small amounts so I think I'm comfortable with it.

Big M, just go to local sports bars where you live and be social. You will find a local real fast.

yeah i've tried the sports bar approach but LA is a weird city. there are literally no sports bars in the downtown area, besides a shitty cheesy place at staples. there was a beautifully degenerate place called the grand ave sports bar but they closed down about a year ago. actually i remember a few months ago i met a chick from indy and took her out to watch the sunday night game indy/sd, hit three different bars in the downtown area and not a single one of them could get audio on the fuckin game. there are a few good spots in the south bay area but that part of town is not really my cup of tea.

overunder, sorry to hear about your track record with forum stiffs. i promise i'm not like that... no way to prove it but you'll just have to trust me. you got mail.

that never works, generally we just will laugh at you and then hang up. Either that or hang up and then laugh at you .
