Has anyone else noticed what a ho-hum year it has been for the gaming industry during the current football campaign? It’s been an uneventful playoff year.

Players have the advantage over the bookies today, so therefore you will start seeing less Fav and over betting just for action. With forums, stat sites, sport sites in general, etc...The info is there to teach the square faster than ever before. As for the safety of books, Time will tell, but every poster here needs to evaluate that current risk with ALL books.

There are many sharp gambler, but there are many, MANY more total squares. These are the people that refuse to educate themselves and believe in superstition, being in it for the action, etc.

If people ever smartened up the industry would completely dry up as the small profit margins would not be able to meet expenses. However, there is no dearth of people that continually give their money away.

Think about it, if people wised up there would be no roulette, no -110 vig, no 10% rake in poker, etc. People just don't care and the sheep are continually led to slaughter.
