So I started off with $100 on friday

ended up with $90 after college football saturday

have like $60 in my account right now

and have two teasers that are pending MNF

if eagles cover the +12.5 teaser spread I'll have $260

do you guys think this is a good strategy? teasing nfl games?

I think eagles will cover the +12.5 but I find it very hard as a newbie to cap NFL games...just too tight

need some breathing room with teasers

college football ill do straight up though

If i do get teh $260 or $300 or whatever it is...what should be my next step? for nfl? should I reinvest in teasers?

teasers are losers in the long run, early NFL allows wiggle room but spreads will tighten.
Wish you great luck with Eagles tail end teaser.

Yea I've actually had most luck with second half lines

As a newbie I thought for the past few weeks that second half bets were no good but they're probably the best bet since you have the most information

This is somewhat true, but if you can isolate a couple of games or if you have two games that you're going to take straight up, why not tease them and get some free points.

Teasers are a joke in my mind the bet little win big mentality is why they are called teasers and you wont catch very many handicappers doing them although the 3 team ones are fun once in awhile but not a consistent moneymaker.... Do what mac said follow him:aktion033

I've stated it many times here that if you read Stanford Wong's book "Sharp Sports Betting" you will find that teasers can be profitable. There's a reason some books won't hang certain numbers at -110 and will instead hang another number at more juice. It's because those key numbers are profitable in the long run.

Teasers are good if you do them right, and for the most part keep them even money. Meaning 2 team 6 points, 3 teams 10.
