The long-term goals of Islamofacists are basically the same of "moderate" Muslims. They both want Islamic rule and societies dominated by Islamic law. The Muslim moderates say they don't support Islamic facism, but at the same time a recent poll in the UK revealed that about 50% of Muslims in the UK would like to see sharia law there. 29% of young middle-eastern Muslims living in the U.S. admitted to thinking suicide bombings on civilians is okay, and that is only the percentage who would admit to it.

Islamofacism is STATE SPONSORED. In spite of sitting on top a shitload of of arguably the world's most valuable natural resource, many Muslims live in squalor in their countries with little opportunity to improve their plight. To make matters worse, they don't have non-stop sports to entertain them, they won't expose themselves to American movies and they're not out drinking at bars to pacify them. They don't have too many avenues to blow off steam, so they turn to religious fanaticism, get together and wash their feet and bums and talk about how much they hate anyone who doesn't believe in Islam. The wackiest of these fruitcakes are driven to jihadic violence.

I think the Middle East sees the writing on the wall already, and their future isn't rosy. We're already working on alternative fuel sources and someday either the world won't need ME oil anymore, or they will run out. Either way, they are fucked when this happens. At that point, they will have two options: start kissing tourists asses and build casinos, or take over other resources through conquest. They aren't about to compromise their 12th century value system and code of conduct, so it looks like they will have to give conquest a try. Unfortunately, it may be necessary to turn the ME into glass someday.

Look back to the previous thread on that 29% and DJ Zenn showed that the 29% figure is not what that poll showed. Good way to mislead people though.

Now your explaining how developed countries pacify their sheep. Please stop making the argument for these idiots they don't need your help. Talk about giving the enemy some fire power.

You already argued that they get nothing from the oil and live in squalor. Make up your fucking mind which it is.

There's something you've missed Anti. Namely the last 100 years. I won't say the West is in free fall but it might as well be. The length of time that science, technology, and capitalism can subsidize increasingly delusional and corrupt societies is of interest in an academic sense. For example the capitalism renaissance led by Thatcher, Reagan, and Deng Xiaoping in the 80s was extremely significant economically but was almost entirely technocratic in the West. Basic socialist principles(including redistribution of wealth)and cultural and institutional dominance were untouched. An ideology becomingly progressively too pure for this world combined with ever growing corruption can't be sustained indefinitely. The more wealth produced the greater the megalomania and greed generated. Islam will be the dominant force In Europe by the end of this century.

A rather unique world view you have young man.

Satisfy my curiosity would you. I am going to guess that you are a male of about 23 years of age and you have yet to travel beyond the borders of America except perhaps an occassional junket into Mexico for the beer, beach and inexpensive ladies.

How close am I?

So the reason many become terrorists is because they won't drink booze and watch sports and movies? And, in your world, they wash feet and asses as a social activity when they get together -- and not as part of a religious ceremony (like a Catholic Priest washing feet on Holy Thursday)

FYI - middle eastern coffee might as well be 3 red bulls in a cup...and hash is plentiful and used by many in that neck of the world. Pretty much every region and culture has some sort of chemical they inject to blow off steam.

But you stick with your "it's because they aren't drunk watching sports" theory LOL. That's quite an interesting take you have on the situation.

God Damn! I hope you have someone to spoon feed you and change your diapers, you are one stupid SOB! I don't even know what to say in response to this, its like "political- deep thoughts by Jack Handy". Its usually a good idea to have at least visited a place before trying to pretend to be an authority on its customs, politics, economy, culture, or anything. You don't have a clue! My recommendation for you is to educate yourself by traveling a little. And when I say travel I don't mean a long weekend in Daytona! And if you do travel, keep your deep thoughts to yourself, nobody likes a dumb-ass, and even though I don't like you, I would hate to find out that you became a victim of the hatred you are hell bent on instilling!

Wow!

Knock Islam and all of the moonbats come crawling out of the woodwork to criticize you and support the Muslims.

Knock Christianity and these same crazies will join you.

You'd think it was the Christians who are the terrorists and the Muslims who turn the other cheek.

Of course we all know that these moonbats hate America and they'll support anyone who joins them in their hatred, even terrorists.

What harm have those southern baptists done to you or anyone else? Let me tell you; NONE! They go to work, pay their taxes, go home to their families, and they participate in their church and their community. We can argue that they want to force their values on others, but isn't that what the militant homosexuals are doing right now? We Americans use the powers that are available to us to do as we see right. We don't fly planes into buildings oir wear vestbombs to murder innocent men, women and children. There's no separation here - only people being Americans.

The militant Muslims are hate filled bigots who want to murder everyone who's different. There is separation by death to all non-believers.

He's actually partly correct.

The French Revolution got a huge part of its momentum from the coffee houses/café culture.

After what happened in France, Britain(England) actually shut all its coffee houses down as a precaution, and left its grog/ale houses open.

Large numbers of sober people getting together to talk about chit carries risks, especially if they have a common leadership.

Look at the evangelicals/muzzies.

Twice in this thread I've seen references to a Christain group that votes Republican somehow being mislead.

There are no 90%er's in the GOP.

Every massive group of sheep vote Democratic. Every voting block with anything near a 9-1 ratio in party preference vote Democratic.

They are

African Americans, still being fed one broken promise after another (actually, many of the same broken promises just broken again).

The Media. See media polling habits and follow the "media money".

Hollywood, good looking people who actually think they understand economics :missingte

Followed closely by unions and a slew of "special interests".

The Republican base tend not to belong to any organization making them promises. Some people don't want government to take away their guns and others don't want abortionists to kill babies, but none are looking for the government to provide / protect a lifestyle (IE: prevent educational choices or increase minimum wages so union workers wages automatically increase).

The U.S. has 63 million Catholics. Those who say they attend church each week voted 53 percent to 45 percent for Bush, exit polls showed.

53%? are you fucking serious? That's the problem in this country? These are the group of people "being fooled" by politicians? These are the sheep?

I agree

but is it Christianity that binds them together or simply ethics

would they still be good human beings without the religion

Probably less so, which makes a case for the religion rather than against it.

Much rather deal with people who can be made aware of their own frailties, given the appropriate religion, than with people who think they themselves are God.
