Free College Basketball Prediction From Robert Ferringo: Louisiana Tech (-14.5) over Rice (10 p.m., Thursday, March 6) This is my projected spread, but I think the line will be right in that neighborhood. Road favorites don’t get a lot bigger than this. But if ever there was a reason for a team to be laying two touchdowns on the road, this is it. If you haven’t looked at the Conference USA standings lately, take a gander. There are four teams tied for the regular season title. Four. And a fifth team, UTEP, is just one game back going into the final regular season game of the league season. All five of those teams play on the road on Thursday, with critical seeding (and bragging rights) on the line. Well, Louisiana Tech is the best team in CUSA, and they get the good fortunate of playing the league’s worst team on the final day. Rice is a fringe D-I program at best. They have won just two games over D-I competition going back to Dec. 8, and Louisiana Tech won by 39 points in the first meeting back on Feb. 15. As much as I respect Rice’s home court (kidding), I don’t think it will shrink the talent differential between these two by over 20 points. Tech needs this game. They deserve the regular season title and top seed in the tournament. And they also have top scorer Raheem Appleby back to give them a boost. The visiting Bulldogs are going to have absolutely no mercy, and this game won’t be close at any point. The road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings, and Rice is 17-35 ATS in its last 52 home games. The Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS against teams with a winning percentage below .400, so they lay the wood to feeble foes. Tech wins by 22, and I would A) also bet the halftime line on this game and B) play this one all the way up to Tech -16.5. Cash in on this one and then don’t forget to sign up for this weekend’s card. I am going for EIGHT STRAIGHT winning Saturdays, and I want to top last week’s +1800 effort. I am also looking to crack the Century Mark – getting over $10,000 in profit on the season with my sides and totals this college season. Sign up today!

Free College Basketball Prediction From Jason Sharpe: Take #548 Michigan State (-3.5) over Iowa (9 p.m., Thursday, March 6) This is where I think the line will be. Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo should have his team up for ‘Senior Night’ here in this one, especially coming off back-to-back big losses. Add in the fact many are now saying that the Spartans have had a down year overall, which should only add to their fire in this one. Most of the Spartans problems stem from the fact they have had to deal with nagging injuries to many of their top guys most of this season. Now finally healthy, look for them to play one of their better games of the season here in this one and get a much-needed win.

Take Michigan State minus the points. Thursday is my College Game of the Month for March. This 6-Unit play is in the Sun Belt Conference, a small conference where I feel one can do a lot of damage if they follow it as closely as I do. Get your first big March Madness weekend started off on the right foot with a big play winner Thursday night!

Free NBA Basketball Prediction From Indian Cowboy: Take Orlando over San Antonio (8:30 p.m., Saturday, March 8) We had a nice comp winner on our newsletter with Virginia handily defeating Syracuse in their last contest. You have another contest here that presents the same value. Orlando got trucked by San Antonio back on November 29 by a score of 91-109 and look to get their revenge here on the road. Orlando is the type of squad that can get up to face the better teams in the league as they are not headed to the playoffs, so the least they can do is get up to face quality teams, especially from the Western Conference. This is a team that lost to Memphis by 5, beat Indiana Outright as an 8-point underdog at home, beat New York at home as an Outright Underdog; and this is in the past 10 contests. Sure, Orlando is terrible. But, the key here is that they get up for the better teams in the league, and they will likely be a solid-sized underdog and with San Antonio looking ahead to much more exciting contests than a sub-.500 team from the East, look for the Magic to keep this contest close as it makes all too much sense as a quality public fade that a 4-28 road team will find a way to cover on Saturday Night to help bury the public on a typical weekend action. Essentially, quality public fade, a weak Eastern Conference team who has nothing to play for will get up to face an elite Western Conference team, seeking revenge, and San Antonio looking to face more worthy opponents down the road and will likely be looking ahead. Collect with this top play and then sign up for my NBA selections as I look to build on my $6,000 profit so far this season. This is my best year yet, and I want to keep it going.

Free NHL Prediction From Doc's Sports: Take UNDER 5.5 Colorado at Detroit (8 p.m., Thursday, March 5) Goals will be hard to come by in Thursday night’s matchup between the Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings. You wouldn’t think that based on the last few games these teams have played, but both teams have been very fortunate with abnormally high shooting percentages in their recent games. Despite averaging less than 30 shots per game, the Avalanche has scored at least four goals in each of their last four contests. Detroit has averaged even less shots that that recently, but they have found ways to get the puck in the net. We should see some regression to the mean here, and I also like the fact that Detroit is banged up and missing a couple of their top guys. Take the under in this one and then sign up for the rest of the season for a great value of $595 (click here).
