2013-2014 NBA Picks

Hi friends,

I am starting this thread to post my NBA picks throughout the 2013-2014 season.

I know as it looks I don't have much credentials, but I have been in the 'business' for years and just decided to start posting my picks to share for all.

A little bit about me:

I have a college and graduate education in Economics at a top US University and have been using an NBA prediction model using past team data in terms of sabermetrics and various expectation theories. (Think Moneyball-esque analyzation)

I know there are other methods out there alike to mine, but I have tweaked various methods to what I believe works best in predicting an NBA game.

I am brand new to this forum and have finally decided to share my picks, so that is the reasoning behind my "lack of credential". Like I said before, I have been doing this for years and am not an amateur as it may seem.

Follow my picks or don't, but I would like to (try) and help everyone with this NBA season.

Toronto Raptors +7 (Teased +.5)
New York Knicks +5 (Teased +.5)
LA Lakers +10 (Teased +.5)
New Orleans Pelicans -2 (Teased +.5)
OKC Thunder +5 (Teased +.5)

All bets were flirting with my betting line, so I teased to add more value & got them over the edge.

1 late add on I found value in:

OKC Thunder FIRST HALF -6

Usually wont post plays by half but looked into it and found a lot of value in this.

Statistical evidence & the fact that MIL is in a B2B coming off a blowout last night... couldn't resist.
