I am going to seperate my 1AA-II-III picks from my 1A picks. The thread gets way too long when mixing them together. As usual, all 1AA-II-III action can be placed at 5 Dimes.

Anyway here are the first picks I've made for this week:

New Hampshire +22

NH is one of the top tier teams in the A 10 conference & started off their season by beating their conference foe Delaware who happens to be the defending 1-AA National Champion. This would be a classic letdown spot but I don't see them being flat when they are going up against a 1A foe. The line is inflated because they are facing a Rutgers team that just had its biggest win in the program in ages. I don't see how after beating a Big 10 team, they will give a damn to face a 1AA team. NH is a good team & I would not be surprised if they pulled the upset. This line should at highest be Rutgers -10 or 11 based on home field advantage. I haven't created new #'s for this season but I know the A10 well & they aren't 22 points inferior to Rutgers or any Big East team for that matter.

Illinois State +36 over Minnesota

My #'s say this line is pretty accurate but I think the line is a tad inflated due to the beating Minnesota put on Toledo. The line might be a few points too high & I'll take my chance on the 5 td dog.

Florida A&M +26.5 over Tulane

This Tulane team imo will struggle on offense this year. FAMU isn't as bad as they looked against Illinois. I think FAMU can hang with Tulane & give them a possible scare.

UT Chattanooga +45 over Memphis

I see this as a letdown spot for the Tigers after a big win against the Rebels. I don't see them caring enough to put the effort needed to pump out a 6TD+ victory. I think the Mochs can score enough to easily stay within this #.

Hofstra +18 over Montana

This Hofstra team isn't ranked but is capable of big things this season & are a sleeper of mine to do serious damage come postseason time. This is their national stage to shine on when they go visit #2 Montana.

This Hofstra offense will put up some hige offensive #'s this year with Bobby Seck calling the signals. He was injured last year & only played in 4 games.

I usually ride Montana as they have been very good to me but I have to go against them here. I don't think their defense can totally shut down Hofstra's high powered offense. The Pride have speed at the skill positions which match up quite well against the Grizzlies defense. I think they will give up a # of big plays & be fought tooth & nail to the end up in Montana.

The Pride have a real solid shot of winning this game outright but unfortunately I know a ML won't be available on this game. Hofstra imo will never come close to this # & will be a winner come Saturday afternoon.

If Buffalo and some of the new Florida schools can get into DivI, I would think Montana should be right around the corner. Theyve been a powerhouse for a long time in IAA

I would love to see Montana compete in Div1A as I feel they can already compete with the big boys & only get better. I hope they make the jump within the next few seasons.

You seem obsessed with me playing chalk & the over all the time which I didn't do. If anything I was one of the more open minded cappers here who would take dogs you couldn't pay someone to take.

I do love Miami tonight though.

EGD, if you could , please list opponents of your favorites. Gives it a better picture. Even when I list my superbowl pick, I ALWAYS list the opponent on the other side of the number

Do you want the opponents listed for each wager, just the ones where I'm playing the favorite, or just ones that are my favorite plays?

EGD,

Where do you get all your lines for these games?

Are these DII also, if so what is the line on my alma mater Chadron State College (Rocky Mountian Conference)?

Good luck on all your plays.

No, your alma mater isn't on the board this week.

Couldn't believe that Richmond-VMI line, Keydets are rarely competitive with the better teams of the Commonwealth.

Yeah that line on Richmond was absolutely ridiculous. I had to triple check for injury information as that was the only thing I could think of that would have the line that low.
