Federal agency planned plane-crashing-into-building drill ... last Sept. 11WASHINGTON (AP)

In what the government describes as a bizarre coincidence, one U.S. intelligence agency was planning an exercise last Sept. 11 in which an errant aircraft would crash into one of its buildings.

Officials at the Chantilly, Va.-based National Reconnaissance Office had scheduled an exercise that morning in which a small corporate jet would crash into one of the four towers at the agency's headquarters.

The National Reconnaissance Office operates many of the nation's spy satellites. It draws its personnel from the military and the CIA.

CIA agent alleged to have met Bin Laden in July

French report claims terrorist leader stayed in Dubai hospital

Two months before September 11 Osama bin Laden flew to Dubai for 10 days for treatment at the American hospital, where he was visited by the local CIA agent, according to the French newspaper Le Figaro. The disclosures are known to come from French intelligence which is keen to reveal the ambiguous role of the CIA, and to restrain Washington from extending the war to Iraq and elsewhere.

Sen. Graham, Rep. Goss, and other US Intel committee members have meeting in the morning with Paki ISI director who had authorized $100,000 wire transfer to Atta.

Before President Bush's election, Goss's name surfaced as a candidate for the top CIA job amid speculation that Bush would replace Director George Tenet.

On the morning of Sept. 11, Goss and Graham were having breakfast with a Pakistani general named Mahmud Ahmed -- the soon-to-be-sacked head of Pakistan's intelligence service. Ahmed ran a spy agency notoriously close to Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.

I know it's a spoof and I know The Onion is the 'Mad Magazine' of the internet. I just think to make a joke of 9/11 is tasteless. It wasn't even funny either.

And someone needs to put a harness on this loren fruitcake. It's enough already.....

Humor is all about pushing boundaries. If you thought your sensitivities would be upset you shouldn't have watched it.

Perhaps some Civil War spoofs would suit you. Unless it's too early for that too.

Hey Hey, to each his own. I'm not blaming you DEAC for posting it, or you ktv for seeing humor in it. I just stated my opinion and I'm sticking to it. DEAC, how you compare spoofing an 8 year old tragedy that everybody witnessed to a war no one alive fought in I don't know. But as my good pal Manny Lovito says, "Rock On!"

Bsesides being from the Onion- in the Matrix there is no truth- only lies. Of that they are correct- and a brilliant satire this is-

Looks like Al Queda and 9/11 debunkers have something in common- besides being in bed together on the subject of Govt complicuty in the murder of 3000 innocent Americans-they are determined ro have you believe is didnt happen.

They both fear the Kooks!!! Listen to his voice. He wants credit from the sheep his cave dwellers deserve- though he is reduced to McCarthyism with "proof" on a piece of paper with names.......
