Anyone ever try this for back problems ie., disc problems? I've heard good things but not sure it's not all hype from quack types?

Works for some. There is a device out there that a guy with my company is trying to patent. Seems to work well for many. Anything that can stretch the vertabrea and take pressure off the discs affected will help.

Do you have to buy a table or are there places you can go and just "hang out" a few times a week? I herniated a disc in January after picking up a too heavy suitcase and had surgery which only seemed to make things worse. Don't know if I want to invest $400 or whatever they cost without trying it out first. None of my doctors have mentioned it, but the premise makes sense.

I've had an inversion table for over five years now, use it every few days. I like the feeling of decompression in my spine and the blood circulating. I don't have back problems, so not sure what to say about yours, InActionGirl, but I wouldn't think it would hurt.

You can find them for around $100-150 anymore on Ebay or your basic sporting goods stores. I wouldn't get suckered into buying that Teeter infomercial one, theyre all basically the same.

Thanks Leykis101....I will definitely check out ebay...Good to know that they are all basically about the same as I usually subscribe to the "you get what you pay for" philosophy, and I probably would have ended up buying a higher end one that I didn't really need.
