Merge Network.........Carbon, PokerCS and a few others. Only about 4500 players at peak times and the lowest Jackpot tables are .50/1.00 NL but somebodys got to hit this i guess....Never been hit since they started it.
These guys have like a 400% sign up bonus and rakeback is available thru a lot of sites. Plus they are easily the 2nd quickest paying site in the buisness. NO documentation required and cks come in about 12-14 days..........Bonus is a bitch to clear but the jackpot would ease that pain a lil..........lol

Quad 7's or better to win the jackpot.

do you need both hole cards used to qualify (I don't play many jackpots but assume that is the norm?)

Certainly.

If you didnt use both hole cards, then a jackpot would be hit every 2 days online.

I was a witness of a live jackpot 2 weeks ago. It was at a no-limit table and the jackpot was around $80,000.

Then it was hit the VERY next day for around $22000 since they had a backup pool

By the way, PPP. Did you hear what happened to the ISLE in Lake Charles.

Well it was about 2 years ago or maybe 18 months ago. Well they had a huge live jackpot of I believe $320,000. Well they LOVED that every table was full most days. You cant get better advertising than that.

Well they decided to set aside a little more than usual for the backup jackpot. So they made an announcement that EVERY jackpot would have a guarantee of at least $100,000. Of course that excited players. The main jackpot was hit at around $345,000. Well then the backup was of course $100,000. I was told that the REAL jackpot would have been around $52,000 at that time. Well 4 days later it was hit. Of course, the amount should have been about $70,000 or so.

But they still liked all of the extra action so they continued the guaranteed jackpots. The jackpot was hit TWICE within a 4 day period with the guarantee. I heard that they lost around $140,000 from those hits.

After that time, they withdrew the guaranteed jackpots

Also, last year the jackpot was hit 2 times in one day at Coushatta. The first one paid around $210,000 or so, and the second one paid out $17,000

Bad Beat Jackpots, live, can easily be cold-decked by a dealer with a few compatriots and a floorman willing to look the other way for a payment.

I've witnessed it, and yeah surveillance is better these days but I have no doubt it still happens.

Well jackpots CANNOT be cold-decked in casinos where I go.

The dealer is required to do the same 3 times wash and shuffle the EXACT same amount of times. They also have to cut the deck of course.

Also, before jackpots are paid out, they check the surveillence tapes for AT LEAST 30 minutes. It usually takes around 2 hours to get paid for a jackpot no matter how big that it will be

Duh, I didn't mean a raw cold deck. Have you ever seen a fake riffle shuffle? the cards gets pushed through and if you aren't paying close attention it looks real. Certainly to a camera way above. It's also easy to fake a cut by having the part you want to come to the top already identified and the deck only 90% squared. Also very tough to see.

I know a dealer who did it. Brought the cold 2nd deck in from the rack - acted like it was an in-use deck so did not spread and count it down. Wash is easy - in a Hold em game you only need to set the top portion of the deck given the number of players (about half the table knew what was going down). So only wash the parts that become the bottom.

There are some absolute card magicians that have been banned in Vegas but now work (or at least did 5 years ago) at tribal places.

Of course the jackpot is reviewed on tape for a while; so was the one I witnessed. It was paid.

In fact, he told me setting up hold em is a piece of cake compared to stud games. Sure enough, one night I sat down at a stud game where he was dealing to kill some time. First hand - not new deck or anything, I get Aces with a 3 or something door card. He smiled. I mucked and left (I was an employee, too - couldn't get into that mess).

He showed it too me later...You can make piles based on the seat number of the person you want to hit; count the number of players, put an ace on top and bottom of the 'pile'; don't mess the pile during the wash, fake shuffles and pre-set cut area.

The guy had great hands - but a sick coke habit and he got fired for not showing up eventually.

You're just ignorant because you haven't seen it. Of the dealers who can do this, probably 99% don't because they don't want the risk...But that 1% is out there.

PPP, as an early Christmas present, I will pay for your entry fee into the tournament at Coushatta tomorrow if you give me 50% of the winnings.

This time though, play some no-limit at my table after the tourney. We can make a killing

I did neglect to mention that the bonus they offer at Carbon and skins is unobtainable by any but the biggest players....I 1st deposited there in 05. In 07 with almost 3000 FPP's i hadnt cleared even the 1st $10 and taking a payout cancelled the bonus. I deposited this year and have close to 6000 Fpp's and as of last night i need 945 more to clear the 1st $10 of bonus...And im playing 1/2, 2/4 and 3/6 L as well as .50/1.00 Omaha when they have a rare game going....Make sure you get rakeback cus you wont get any bonus you'll notice.

I cant do Coushatta tomorrow , got my crack house for rent and ill be there all morning taking bribes, oops i mean applications......

The Absolute Poker bad beat jackpot is currently at

$456,000+

I played some bad beat tables a bit today, but I don't think
it's +EV, so I don't like to do it. I.e. they take an extra .50 from
every raked pot (and their rake already is high).
