They're going by last 3 races there I'm sure, where Tony has finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. But Johnson has been strong there as well......

Stewart will be strong but will have to start from the back since he didn't qualify his car. There has never been a car starting outside the top 20 that has ever finished in the top five in this race. Stewart has a good chance to break that streak today.

before the 1st practice Friday.


"Smoke" went on to total his car (which

starts him in 43rd)...

I am going to ask how. No house would give you 6-1 on Johnson to beat Stewart only when Johnson is less than that to win the race. Unless you say how, I give this no credibility whatsoever. Unless it is simply an arbitrage and you slanted it that way which is probably the case in which it will be a small win anyhow. If true, nice work, but an explanation definately is called for here.

Doesnt make a difference. Johnson was favored over him before after during now and forever. Had to be an arbitrage that he slanted that way. No book gave him 6-1 odds to beat stewart only. Hell no book would have him favored over Kyle Petty by that much for crying out loud. I will just assume it was a small profit arbitrage that he is too embarrassed to admit now. Poor and deceptice use of words by Sal.
