Good as time as any to take a shot here. Hit about 87% on my big bets this season. For those of you that have been reading my threads, you know I like to take a shot like this when I feel good about it. Being up so much, I can afford it. I am not trying to convince anyone else to go big on Steelers but I do feel good about the moneyline bet. I wanted to do the -6 but couldn't pull the trigger.

Pittsburgh at home and with that defense I am not apprehensive about putting a little more cash down then I should on one game. Besides, when am I going to get a chance to bet big again? Football season is almost over and what am I going to do? Put this kind of money down on the crapshoot that is the NBA?

Alright, so 5000.00 on Steelers moneyline. Most likely my last big bet of the season/playoffs.

I'm thinking of doing same type of thing with local. I agree, last big weekend to shot take, till ncaa hoops tourney. GL, what will that bet net you? If Suggs doesn't play, you're in good shape.

it only nets me 2000.00. That is not a lot. I really want to take the -6 but that would be a bad idea. I can't pull the trigger on that. I really am itching to though. I'm just going to stick with the moneyline.

sorry to see your colts get knocked out so early

I know, and I lost some good coin on that bet. That was my first big loss in months. Of course it had to be my Colts to do that.

I'm still annoyed that they couldn't finish off the Chargers. Colts would have put up a much better fight than the Chargers did against Pittsburgh. At the very least they wouldn't have gotten slaughtered like San Diego did. They even beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh this season.

Oh well. Colts lost fair and square. What can you do.

I think I may to only about 2 dimes though..I've been tracking the Pitts moneyline and it seems to be going down I seen it as high as -270 and now over the last few days it's been down to about -250. I still think I'm going to pull the trigger, Pitts. is catching Baltimore in a good spot plus Baltimore has alot of banged up key players.

I might even parlay Pittsburgh with the Sun moneyline tomorrow against the Raptors. That would be a decent payout. We'll see. I'll wait till morining and parlay it with Suns or something.

I don't bet on my teams games. I'll be rooting hard against your bet.

Understandable. You're a Ravens fan so I figured that you would be rooting against this pick. If Ravens do pull off the upset, which is entirely possible, they have a good team, they are going to have to play one hell of a game to do it.

Good Luck Sumday!!

Thanks, just pulled the trigger on a straight bet. Pittsburgh moneyline only. I'm pretty sure it will be a good ball game. I'm also pretty sure Ravens are done tomorrow.

Hate to give that many points to Pitt, but with the injuries and seeing how healthy Pitt is, Pitt has a great chance of covering the
-6. It is close on the public, but it seems they are leaning on Bal +6 line now. I think losing Suggs and Rolle are very key in this game, and how well Willie Parker is also.

Sumday i think your ml play on the pitt is like walking out to get your paper and the paper boy left 2dimes in your paper. Dont lay the -6 and have to sweat a backdoor just pick up the easy 2dimes. Just my opinion for what its worth

That's what I went with. Pulled the trigger on the straight moneyline. Didn't bother with the spread or parlaying it with anything. It's not a sure bet but it beats stressing out a back door cover like you said.

I made the bet at -250. I forced myself to do it quickly because I was really tempted by the -6. I really think they cover. I think I am going to put 500 on the -6 just so I can say i got in on it.
