A well-rested Cavs team, vs. a road weary Hawks squad.....a team that quite frankly, is miserable on the road.

Couple that with Lebron's MVP celebration, the Cavs absolute DOMINANCE at home, and a team hungry to prove itself....especially with the Lakers losing tonight, I really think Lebron and the boys take it right at them tomm night.

The Cavs D is far superior than the Heat's, and I'm not convinced Horford or Williams are healthy.

I see a double digit victory right outta the gate.

Good luck guys :toast:

another factor, the large margin of defeats in their series against the Heat.

Hawks 3 losses were of 15, 29, 26!!

AND the Cavs 2 victories over the Pistons in round 1 were by 12 and 18, and those games weren't nearly that close.

-11.5

yet another reason:

we saw how flat the Celtics came out after a grueling 7 game series. The Magic took it right to the rim, after keeping the Celts D honest with some early 3s. Even Pierce said he was drained just as much mentally from the prev. series, as he was physically. And then the short turnaround with minimal prep. time on top of all that??

I expect the Cavs to attack the rim much the same, especially with the Hawks only true shot blocker hobbled a bit.

Cavs baby! I'm considering a 5 unit play, which could mean a POY for me thus far.

Lets see...

The Cavaliers are 41-2 at home...
Parrys index has them winning by 20...
Their owned by Quiken Loans, which has been cleaning up on the mortgage crisis all year...
They seem immune from the "public fade"...
Lebron just won MVP...
They're rested...
They play top Defense...

Atlanta averages a 3 point loss on the road.
They're owned by some investers in Georgia..

Yeah, I'll take Cavs -11.5 and Cavs 1st half -6.5.
