Customer service is pathetic and yes they are going on what management tells them. However I don't think they are fully informed of every single thing going on. Also with the EFT's, how do you know that Neteller was lying? Do you think it's possible that they thought their banking situation would be cleared up and they'd go thru soon?

They also would have figured out P2P without forum talk sure, but that doesn't excuse it. Anyone who talks about sensitive stuff like that on public boards is an idiot. Plain and simple. The volume of P2P's wouldn't have been so great without the zoofags and other boards jumping on it.

They're retained credibility with nonUS customers since it's business as usual with them. It would be nice to see a company challenge Neteller but nobody has and they are the dominant ewallet. The US govmt is responsible for this mess.

Umm... because what they told everybody at first (don't worry EFTs are just delayed a few days because we're experiencing such high volume) and continued to tell everybody after Neteller execs knew funds had been seized by the DOJ (no worries, pending EFTs will defintiely clear in 1-2 weeks) turned out not to be true?

Anyone talk to Van Wilson in the past 5 days? Its funny, every time he called me (5-6 times) he blocked his phone number, intentional or unitentional i dont know. He was suppose to have my funds out for me on Thursday/Friday of last week but never called or emailed back since this thread started.

Wait a minute? I thought you were the one that said he was solid?
Van Wilson is very legit, BTW.

and in god sake why would you want to send $$ to a guy who Blockes his phone # when he calls? That should have been indication #1 he was a fraud. I hope you didnt send this guy $$ cause I have a feeling we will never hear from him again.

There is no indication that he stiffed anyone yet. Van not posting on here anymore only says that his plan no longer works. We have no reason to believe that he is holding anyone's money, especially when no one has come on here and indicated that.

It's nice to see that I am missed!

I never took a dime upfront from anyone that I have or was trying to help. The merchant I was working with is in contact with Neteller, trying to get things back active.

I will update everyone that I have helped already and the ones that I was working with on Wednesday.

Hey Actionbrett,

You said

So did he have your funds out to you? So why would Van Wilson have to send you funds?

I believe Van has collected for some people. I doubt he is stiffing anyone out of anything or else we would have heard about it. He found a nongaming merchant and for a while was successfully able to funnel money out from them. He was charging way too much and that was my beef with him. Those who were willing to pay the fees, which seemed to be much higher than he was proclaiming, knew that using him was risky and costly.

Nongaming transactions are no longer available so Van is out of the loop. It is really unfair to judge anyone unless you have at least indirect experience with him. If he somehow gets positive results with a new merchant and Neteller themselves then I will attempt to give him a shot. I am not optimistic though.

I sincerely hope the DOJ prosecutes the Neteller guys to the fullest extent of the law. Stand up guys would not block people from their money.

"Dear Mr. ______,

Thank you for your email. At this time US clients are unable to transfer their funds to any merchant online through our service. I do apologize for the inconvenience and for the misinformation. We are currently reviewing the matter and will advise if this will be an option in the future on our web site at www.updates.neteller.com.

Kind regards,

Darcy

If all you guys w/ $$$ at neteller want to take a stand, you should sue them in the county where you live. Also name as defendants these guys that got arrested. Don't stop there -- name all of their current officers as defendants.

The simplest of suits would be a breach of contract claim. Sue them for the amount they are holding. They would have to send counsel -- the more suits, the tougher on Neteller. Oh, and if they assert a defense that the DOJ has "frozen" the accounts, then they would need to join the DOJ in the suit.

If they don't show, you get a default judgment. Then you can take steps to attach a lien on neteller's property (through the court system of wherever they are located).

At least this will start to bring the heat to Neteller.

I would do exactly that, if I did not think it would open up a can of worms on myself.
