IS,

There isnt't a 'record' as the system doesn't make actual picks. It provides a simulation model, and forecasts the predicted outcome based on that.

The model runs each game at least 10k times, and forecasts a probability of winning as a percentage, and how you choose to use those probabilities is entirely up to you. We do publish a daily line report daily which highlights areas of strength and weakness of the model as well.

I hope this helps.

When Stat Shark gives a team a 55% or 60% or chance of covering a line, what % of the time does the team cover the number?

IS,

The percentages you are looking at are totally at the whim of the number the game is played at, so while a play could be a 60% forecast based on a line of 6, the percentage could drop to 54% (for examples sake) at 5 1/2.

I won't be able to do it until Tuesday as the person responsible is away, but I will post a copy of the daily line report in which we cover dozens of different ways of data evaluation for you to view.

When I say "the number" I am referring to the number Stat Shark uses for the game. Not what line is available at the time from a sportsbook.

When we post the %%'s in the threads here at TheRX, there are 3 listed. We also then post the %% of SIM wins. The numbers are:

1. Current Line at a Major Offshore Book
2. Current total at a Major Offshore Book
3. Straight Up/ML

Not sure what other number you cold be refering to, as we don't make predictions or picks against any number, just a forecasted %% of winning (based on the SIM results) against the 'quoted number' or ML.
