It suppose to end late Sunday. Shouldn't be snowing during the game that much. Bulk will happen all day Saturday and early Sunday. But for some reason if system moves slow it will be nasty. Tough call!

It is going to be a messy, nasty weekend around the Delaware Valley -- especially on Saturday when we are expecting a major snowstorm.


The National Weather Service on Friday had the whole NBC 10 viewing area under a winter storm watch.


By midmorning Saturday, around 8 or 9 a.m., a light snow will start to fall in a band around the Philadelphia area. By noon, it will be snowing everywhere.


Around 2 p.m. the snow will be falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches an hour and by 6 p.m. we should all have at least 8 inches on the ground.


By nighttime Saturday, temperatures were expected to drop into the teens, with the wind chill making it feel like it's around 0 degrees


The snow will start to taper off Saturday night around 9 p.m., and wind gusts could blow the snow around and hamper visibility.


Drivers should be extremely careful because there will be dangerous conditions on the roads and at many times, you won't even be able to see the car in front of you.


Sunday morning there will still be some snow in the outlying regions of our viewing area.

accuweather has some great info on the weather for each game.

Since they are located in State College, they probably have a rooting interest in one or both games.

The Steeler hour-by-hour forecast says snow should end way before kickoff. Temps in the teens with wind in the mid single digits.

That being said, things certainly can change over the next 48 hours.
