There has been some confusion about how to sign up so here's the quick and dirty version:

1) Read the tournament information page: http://lasvegasadvisor.com/bjtourney.cfm

2) Click on the casino link and download/install software

3) After opening the casino software you just installed, register a real money account by clicking the "Create" button.

4) When prompted, enter your name, address, etc. Use LVA40 for the "promotion code."

5) Check your email for login information, which will include you PIN number.

6) Log in to the casino using your newly created account information.

7) Join the "lasvegasadvisor" group, by clicking on the "Groups" tab (password: winner)

8) Click on "Blackjack," and then choose "Multiplayer." You will see the daily tournament registration links.

9) After choosing the day you'd like to play in the tournament, you'll be sent to a terms and conditions page. After reading the terms/requirements, you must click the button to finalize your registration.

The Las Vegas Advisor is a must have if you like going to Vegas. The coupon book alone you get free for subscribing is worth a few hundred bucks. I like getting an actual paper copy so I get it mailed to me for $50 a year but an online subscription is only $37 bucks for the year.

Glad this is posted (of course). Been trying to get the word out. This should be the biggest online blackjack tournament ever, mostly because they're the only site I'm aware of that has BJ tournament software.

I've heard rumors of Microgaming online casinos, and a couple existing poker sites working on blackjack tournament software. There will probably be many more BJ tournaments on the Net in the coming months and years.

A BJ tournament is very different from regular blackjack. What you bet is much more important than how you play your hands for the most part (although how you play matters quite a bit too).

For example, let's say you're on the last hand and you are dealt a K9 for a hard 19, and your only chance to win is too double. Well, you've got to double on a hard 19. There are many deviations that come along on a hand by hand basis.

Last I saw there were 514 people registered. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday still have open spots.

Not really trying to plug this harder, but just wanted to inform people of what's going on. Thanks.
