Another young soldier killed in action today from the Towson area....Just looking at his picture really is sad, the kid looks like he's fresh out of high school, for what???

...I just don't get it...I wonder how many of these kids are scared to death over their just hoping to stay alive...dying for nothing, alot of these kids were going to a prom when this war was about to unfold.

I know its their choice , but when you see how young some of these kids are , it just doesn't seem right...I try not to think about it too much, I cannot imagine how they must feel fighting this crazy war, that seems to have no plan or end in sight.

God bless them all

Journey,

do you ever shed a tear for the 100'000 Iraqi's you all have killed? the families you have destroyed?

Do you think the world is safer today than it was before the invasion of IRAQ....

the average IRAQI is 58 more times likely to get killed today than they were before the Invasion of IRAQ from YOUR country....

I hope to god you did not vote for Bush....

SportSavant,

Could you please refer me to a credible site that gives such a lofty figure for Iraqi deaths?

they should have gone into banking, if they didn't want to go to war

how do we know that they weren't just itching to get into the thick of things over there, being the reason they signed up

how do we know that they wouldn't have gotten hit by a bus going to their banking job. what if they actually lived longer b/c they went to iraq, when they would have gotten hit by the bus several weeks earlier

god bless those guys from your state and all of them. i pray for them nightly and have shed tears for them, but the sense of pride i have for them comes b/c they signed up for the job - they felt that strongly - the fact that they died isn't why i am proud of them
they wanted to give back, and some ended up giving all
thanks

Cujo, I read in the Washington Post a month or so ago that they estimated Iraqi civillian deaths to be around 100K. I think you need an online subscription to search past articles so I can't provided a link, but they definetly quoted that number.

The Economist Magazine estimates that "The Husseins" exterminated approx 320,000 Iraqis during their day on the Monopoly Board. We are time zones away, but I feel sorry for the civilians....its a part of war that most don't get to see.

I bet you don't.

You guys are right we should have left Saddam in power and ignored the whole damn thing. Now look at us fighting terroist in Iraq....what were we thinking we should have waited for them to get into California.

JOURNEY, its sad man but, having reelected bush for another four years, you're in for countless more deaths....by the time this is all over, many will wish it were only three... :(

King,
You sympathize will people whom adore the Confederate flag -- the symbol of the the land that went to war to protect "their right to own slaves" and you suggest that I'm the racist? You're either full of sh*t about being black or you're a discrace to the black people that suffered from the hate and ideology of Southern WASPs.

Hey, you know which class fights the machine's war don't you?

WOW.....you are wayyyyyyyy out there. Put the bottle down...get some air and sober-up a bit. I sympathize with people whom adore the Confederate flag........HUH????. Where the hell did you get that?....I am about as far away from backing slavery as you can get.

Are you sterotyping the majority of Americans who re-elected Bush as Confederate flag lovers?....If so you have a problem worse then being a racist...you are extremely stupid and there is no cure for that.

I don't drink King, but then again I'm not a disillusioned neo-con in Sin City ... so why would I need to?

Do you honestly believe that you are "as far way" as it gets? Serioulsly King -- check out which side of the Mason-Dixon your base is on.

Oh I get it now.....your a bitter lib who lost another election and both houses of congress and instead of trying to figure out what went wrong you are going to call names and cry until it gets better. Keep feeling sorry for yourself and calling the majority names.......that really work this last election. Yeap you keep reading those Soros/Moore talking points that game plan was so effective. Waah-Waah Loser.

Actually I'm a centrist and a registered Republican (although a case could be made for being an elitist), but you're on a good roll tonight ... everything you say is complete horsesh*t.

Hey, have any picks while you're at it ... which these types of fadable projections who needs to cap ;)
