yes, detroit is in a must win situation. however, do they still have the desire?

Larry Brown said after game 2 he showed the tape to his team and they agreed they lacked effort. Game 3 -- still no effort. They only got back into that game because indy played at their pace in the halfcourt and let them back in. indy should have won that game by 8-12 points but it was closer than it really was.

botton line--i don't see detroit as being hungry and wanting it. indy wants it.

detroit may take this game. but i wouldn't lay the points. and I wouldn't lay the chalk on the moneyline...not at that price.

under in this game is where the value is. i think the under is the best bet of the day.

I hope my posts didn't change anyone's opinion that was on the fence. My apologies if it did. It has been an incredibly profitable series so far on Indiana moneylines but that doesn't help with today's losers.

You dont have to apologise b/c you are completely right in your opinion. Its hard to believe posters on here who claim to be, lets say enlightened, actually played Detroit on the M/L, but dont get carried away thinking its only NBA or the play-offs that betting dogs are profitable.

Its incredible the amount of punters who dont understand that in a 2 horse race, when they are taking 1/2, dont know they are giving 2/1 to the other party, when they have been informed of this 90% of them want the 2/1 instead.

My post was more apologizing to anyone that may have been on the fence looking for info that might factor in to who they decided to play ATS. If I turned anyone towards Indiana +5 because I feel Indiana is wrongly a dog at home, I apologize.

I agree with you completely and feel there was a lot of value in Indiana today...although once a game is complete, there is very little value in a 13 point loser. :drink:

My capping and profits for the series are strictly on playing the dog on the moneyline the whole way. It has been extremely profitable for me and even 2 more losses in a row to close out the series will not effect that.

I don't think Pacers will win another game in this series. Detroit knows that the Heat are resting so they will not want a long drawn out series with the Pacers. Series over, Pistons 4-2
