I'm 6-1 YTD playing 5unit games.. I call a 5unit play a Play of the Year... I know some get rattled by the term.. I find great humor in naming my unitary plays as follows:
5unit = play of the year
3unit = play of the week
2unit = top play of the day
1unit = avg play for the day
TONIGHT I'm playing 2 games in the MAC as 5unit plays.. I feel I win them both going away.. a split bare minimum... The plays are below with a additional POW in the BIG 12

CMU +10 at NIU
I watched CMU rip-up NIU at the rose arena earlier this year. CMU matches up well with NIU, one of the few teams we can say this about, niu does have a revenge angle here but they are also coming off a huge win this past week.. I see CMU staying close here on the road in a game they feel they can, and can win on the road. I also like niu to suffer a letdown playing the lowly chips after sat game...
WMU -3 at BG
western is coming off of a huge lose on saturday, a game I lost with them.. Make no mistake this team is the cream of the MAC and I DO NOT see them losing 2 in a row.. The 3 doesn't scare me, I feel this will be a 10 point win for the BRONCO's going away!

also.. niu had lost 10 in a row in the mac before winning there last 2 games at home.. during that 10 game losing streak was a 9 points lose in Mt.Pleasant..

i watched the n ill and central game earlier this year. i had central. all i know is both teams went up 5 to 10 points during the game. niether team being good enough to put the other away. if central wasn't at home a blow out would of been in order. central wasn't even close to ripping n.ill. i thought i was getting a couple of points with central also, and i was praying to cover.
though i think the 9- is to much to give to for to bad teams.

as you all can see my POY are usually VERY LIVE DOGS! Tonight I have a 1-1 at worst situation I feel and most likely 2 winners.. I simply do not see WMU losing 2 in a row.. and CMU should not by any means get blownout by 10 at NIU... These may not be my easiest POY that I have come to expect when making a play a POY but winners i feel they will be...

n.ill couldn't hit a shot to save their life the last four or five minutes.
just been snake bitten to much the last couple of weeks by both those teams. actually my system has them both, western and central, just sick of taking dogs on the road in the mac, along with favs.

truly.. I'm very good year in and year out in the MAC.. I find that at this time of year homecourt becomes overvalued by the linemen in the MAC.. As we saw saturday TOLEDO was the only home team to cover the #... away team 3-1 on saturday in the MAC / 1-1 on sunday... now we are looking at Monday's card and my POY are banking on more of the same...
