kiss1,

I don't think Pinnacle will care, but Canbet will kick you out if they find out you are a shadow mover.

stiff book. constant lies. even when they were paying players they sucked. clerks sucked and were rude. i remember that they wouldn't let you make a bet if you didn't know your total when you called. imagine calling up on a saturday afternoon in march after making bets in the morning...you have no idea what your total is.

wow Blue, that brings back some memories!!! I totally forgot you had to know your balance when calling, i was good at keeping track and if i was off by a few bux either way it wasn't a big deal. But I had one episode with them, back in like 1995 when i first started, they gave me a song and dance on a payout once, didn't have the check after a week or something, eventually i told em to put the cash back in my account, from there i killed them good and got paid. But that one experience made me leary, i left them in about 1997 or 98 for intertops and never looked back.

Since its been Millennium, Carib, Hollywood, but 99% of my time is spent now at PINNACLE.

For me I would have to give my vote to Apex and betzz. Both went under....Apex I got bailed out from but betzz sunk without any chance of recouping my money. I remember calling betzz asking why my neteller withdrawal hadn't been processed. The guy said that neteller deposits require a 30 day hold for security reasons and that my withdrawal would be sent afterwards lol. About 10 days later, the phones were down as was their site.

I wonder if people who used ESB when they confirmed balance, and gave a low number for lack of keeping up with balance if ESB just went along with it a deducted it down to what they said. I bet they have done that a time or two.

stiffed: PrimeTime Sports

Slow Paid: World Wager took over 5 months to get my 5 dimes (regardless of what you do, do not sign up there)

worst Software: Celebrity Sportsbook

Worst Customer Service: Again, World Wager. Add any Go To Entertainment related entity as CS cannot do anything and you cannot have direct contact with people who can.

Blatant Dual Lines: Bowmans (I like Bowmans though, even with the dual lines)

I have been pretty lucky. But I won some free accounts in contests years ago at BetMega, Island, BetRoyal and Nasa.

Islands was actually OK I got the money did the roll over and played a couple sclaps there and never had to withdraw.I actually think I still have 80 cents or so there. But probably gone now since it was years ago.

Bet Royal was actually not very good. I did everything I needed to do, and I never got the bonus money. I can't remember why at this point. But I did get he money I won. I think they claimed I could only win a maximum amount 1000 I think. I ran it up to a little over that, and they sent me 9 hundred and change after the fees and what not. I think it was deposit 100 get a match of 100 and you were able to withdraw 1000. But it was a 100% match but a pretty obscene roll over. But I did it, and got something. But I pretty much let the account go because it was like pulling teeth getting the money. They actually still cal my exgirlfriend's cell number since it is the one I used whenI signed up. So that is a bonus since we are not together anymore. Those calls from a sportsbook at all hours of the day are so special :).

BetMega was probably the worst. Again, another contest win. I got nothing. Even had the forum that ran the contest in the mix. There were 3 prizes offerd, and no one got their share. They were gone shortly after that. But I lost the post up I sent in. I think it was 150 bux or something goofy like that. That was awhile ago now as well.

But have actually been pretty lucky with books. Mostly because I do not bonus whore and jump around looking for an easy buck. Thatis why I don't think it is a surprise that the ones I did have a problem with were giving money away in contests.

That has changed a lot I know. But I don't waste my time with them anymore. I stick to the gambling and making money by betting money. Not depositting it.

I have been very lucky in my career and I got out of ESB before they stopped paying all together.

About ESB, I worked with both Danny B and Philly Prince after they worked for ESB and I have so many horror stories from what Dennis did to people. He would actually take money from peoples acct. He would tell his workers to just syphon anywhere from 5-30 dollars from everyones acct. He would slow pay people and then if they would complain he would just NOT pay. He was so stubborn and set in his ways that he would take it personnel when certain people would constantly beat him. There were 2 brothers from Texas that were beating his brains in, but he would pay them all the time and just say "we'll get those bastards". The shame of the whole thing is the business opportunity that he had in his hands and he pissed it away.

ESB is/was a real class act.

Are these clowns still taking money from people? Are they still in business??

The only good thing i can remember now is their check fax upgrade process, fax a copy of a check with the amount of the deposit and they put that in your account and cash the check from your bank, don;t even think there were any fees and the funds were there real quick, like within an hour. So that was a great thing, any one know if other books use this??

Hey i remember when internet betting first started (tax free when the rest of UK was charging 9%) that I had a 400 bet with a company betinternet or something like that that won at 4/1 and when I checked my account they credited 80 pounds into my account saying they had sent me an e-mail (that they couldn't trace) saying that my maximum wager was 20 pounds although they debited my account for a 250 pound losing bet the same day.

They were based in Oxford - and point blank refused to pay up evn though I had confirmation screens saying bet was accepted for 400 pounds. Needless to say they disappeared without trace.
