I’m sticking with Toronto. They are the better team. I’ll wait until next game to bet against them lol. I really haven’t been impressed with Tampa including their goalie. I’m also sticking with another game 4 over. I have the Jets in the series so I will be pulling for the, but just like tonight’s Rangers game, I can make a case for both sides. I lean Winnipeg and New York, but not strong enough to bet. Good luck.

April 25th

Islanders ML (+135), 2*

I’m going to take a shot on the Islanders. Sorokin is the type of goalie that can stand on his head and win you a game, which is good to have in your back pocket. Unlike the NBA where teams like the Celtics and Nuggets are up 3-1 and are going to coast to a series win in five, hockey players battle to the end. I believe the Islanders are live tonight.

I want to bet the Kings again tonight. +195 seems too high. This series has been tight the whole way through and almost a 2/1 dog is questionable. I’m going to wait and see if this goes up any higher, but I will more then likely add the Kings to my card.

Last night ended with a whimper. No big deal, I can’t win every night. Shop around for this number. If you can only get 6.5 with minimal juice, I would still bet it. But there are several 6’s with -120 juice on the market.

1-0 start. Let’s take another over. I know Makar is out, but that hurts Colorado on defense just as much as it hurts them on offense.

Should be a fun night. As we saw with Florida and the Islanders, teams down 3-1 aren’t giving up. The Leafs are certainly capable of making things interesting. They also are 0-8 all time in the playoffs with Wes McCauley as referee. McCauley just worked game one of this series, which is Toronto’s only loss to this point. Good luck!

You sure about McCauley reffing tonight? I heard it’s Kyle Rehman and Jean Hebert, if that’s the case then Leafs are 9-0-1 if the latter two are reffing.

You’re right. I thought I read McCauley was reffing tonight, but I didn’t. That’s what happens when you try to post picks at work. I still like Tampa. I just thought that was an interesting stat with McCauley.

Thought I was going to have another winning night until they took the goal off the board in the Vegas game. I feel really good about the Bruins. They played great in Florida in games 3 and 4. This is a team who has bounced back from a loss with a win at an insane clip all season. I don’t usually lay this much juice, but I believe in this Bruins team and I like them to win this series in six. I might have more later. Good luck.

Got back my money from yesterday. I thought I was going to get burned by an empty netter late. Good start to round two. I really have no concrete feelings on either series that starts tomorrow. I could see any of those four teams winning in five or losing in seven. This could be a situation where I don't bet tomorrow and just watch the games to get some info for game 2 and beyond. I will update if necessary.
