Already early money has knocked this total down 1 1/2 points from the opening 51. The last 5 times the opening total was greater than 50 in the Super Bowl - it is 4-1 to the under. May not be the wisest of choices for a "hail Mary" try and get even 100 unit play. I hear Europe is nice in the fall for a sabbatical.

Depends on what book you look at. The total opened at 48 1/2 at in the Superbook at Westgate in Vegas. Normally they're the first book to open lines in Vegas. Online books open at different numbers. Others were MGM 49 1/2, Ceasars 49 1/2, Wynn 49 1/2.
