I already played New Jersey Devils UNDER 84.5 -105

New Jersey has 18 sets of back 2 back games this season. 5 of these sets are in November, they are gonna be behind the 8 ball early. The weight of the whole season essentially falls on the shoulders of Schneider because scoring goals is going to tough for the line up this team is putting on the ice. New Jersey is also the eldest team in the league with an average age of 31.425 years a full 2 years older than the 2nd eldest team the New York Rangers. I have 5 teams out of the Metropolitan Division making the playoffs with Philly just missing the playoffs. Metro will be a super tough division and I can't see The Devils holding their own

New Jersey Depth Chart

Mike Cammalleri Patrik Elias Jaromir Jagr
Ryane Clowe Travis Zajac Tuomo Ruutu
Martin Havlat Adam Henrique Damien Brunner
Dainius Zubrus Jacob Josefson Michael Ryder
Stefan Matteau Stephen Gionta Steve Bernier

Andy Greene Marek Zidlicky
Bryce Salvador Jon Merrill
Eric Gelinas Adam Larsson
Peter Harrold Damon Severson

And Ottawa Over

I really like Ottawa too just don't wanna pay -125, I'd rather a higher number with less juice, i'd play it at 80.5 for even$. Buffalo UNDER also looks tempting just cant stand bodog props with -115 for both sides

I was just listening to XM and Boomer Gordon was touting Nashville over 76.5 saying how they weren’t getting any love from vegas, etc.

First of all I hate when they refer to BoDog or any offshore book as “Vegas” but that’s a gripe for a different forum.

I thought about it driving home thinking 76.5 isn’t a whole lot of points regardless of who you are with all these 3 point games being played. Shit they have to average less than a point a game. How hard can that be? But I couldn’t remember what they did in the off season besides dump Barry Trotz.

So after a cursory check I see they tried to bolster a offense that finished 19th in the league. My problem with their moves is they have a hodge podge of attitude in James Neal, Mike Ribeiro, and Peter Laviolette. How that chemistry blends remains to be seen but you can’t understate Neal’s career numbers. And before you say those numbers were a direct reflection of playing in Pittsburgh keep in mind for the last 3 years no one has scored more combined goals for Pittsburgh than Neal. He scored 88 goals in the last three years, (Mostly due to staying healthy.) He’s 27 and in the prime of his career.

Ribeiro is a straight up asshole. Always was, always will be, but he’s scored 16 goals or more in 9 of his last ten years. Definitely on the down side of his career but offers still more offense to a PP already ranked 12th in the league.

They also added Derek Roy and Ollie Jokinen, (who’ll be 36 in December). Depth moves to forward lines that are losing at least 20 goals Patric Hornqvist would have tallied this year.

On defense they add physical blue liner Anton Volchenkov who will aid the PK that ranked 25th last year. A defense that already has Shea Weber, Roman Josi, and Seth Jones.

Factor in that the Preds had to rely on Carter Hutton, Marak Mazanec, and Devan Dubnyk for 67 games in goal during 2013-14. With a healthy Pekke Rinne returning one must assume Nashville’s 2.84 GAA, (ranked 23rd), will shrink dramatically.

Mike Fisher returns either November or December. Filip Forsberg is a wild card.

All in all a lot to like for a team listed by a meager 76.5 points. But now I see them listed here/above at 78.5. Someone already has made this line move. Maybe Boomer has some friends with a bankroll? No matter what 78.5 seems pretty low to me.

yeah Nashville is one of my favourites to hit over their number (although now it's up to 79.5). I mean, I don't think they downgraded their team at all, should hopefully have a healthy Rinne, which is worth more than a few points, and they had 88 points last year despite going 2-9 in shootouts. How do they not get to 80? What am I missing? The over 76.5 was just downright free money - wish I had seen that number!
I also really like the Islanders OVER 86.5 and the Flyers U88.5.
Doubt the Avalanche hit 96 points, but I hate the -130 juice.
