Windy as hell now with chance of rain later. Cold and miserable. Somewhat like the Monday night game but with wind. Look at the pre-game TV shot for a true look. Locals? Chime in. Line currently at 44.5. Opened at 47.

I live 10 min from College park and the weather sucks... Cold wet and windy as hell...

I will try to update closer to game time as it is supposed to chill out later in the evening...

Live north of College Park and we are getting the same wind that you saw blow through Ohio last night in that game. Temps are chilly, but the wind chill is what is going to be the big thing there, it feels down right cold.

Wind has been NASTY all day. Sometimes even dificult to walk in it. Should have a serious affect on the outcome of the game. Sorry Bruce Perry is not playing for Terps (I don't think)and Maldanado is also out. This means very little depth at RB. McBrien is also still a little banged up and that will limit there ability to run the option vs. the UVA 3-4 defense.

MD still with an outside shot at a BCS game w/ FSU playing NCSU this week. Not likely, but they are still talanted and have solid skilled players.

Matt Schaub is the ACC offensive player of the year last year and is having another solid season, but once again the weather should shut him down as Virginia runs a mostly dink and dunk passing game to set up everything else they do. Passing the ball should be next to impossible tonight.

Should be plenty of turnovers.

MD is tough at home, blowing out WVU and UNC, and beating Clemson. UVA is average at best on the road... They have played the big time teams tough (see FSU). My only fear is there lack of a rushing game tonight.

TONIGHT:
I'll play the under 44.
and a small play on MD -6.5

G/L tonight.
sorry for the long write up in your thread. Couldn't stop rambling.

FWIW, that weather shouldn't have as much of an effect on UVA's passing game as it would a team that favors the intermediate to long passing game ....

BDNole,
I agree it will not have the same affect as a team like FSU that throws the bomb on every other play.

The wind and cold (wind chill) will have an affect of the UVA offense however. It's easier to hand the ball off in a 40+ mph wind than it is to throw it 5-7 yds. down field.

I didn't mean they wouldn't be able to complete any passes.

BigXII Fan: we have a tough enough time throwing the ball when the weather is ideal

SWEET.

Just got in at 1:00 am.pacific. Had to leave the game when it was 7-0. Heard it was 24-7 at the half. Didn't look good and decided to wait till now to look at damage to my bankroll. What do you know it ended at 44, nice.

I read line went back up to 47 prior to kick off. Maybe no rain and people starting betting the OVER. Who knows. Been on a bad roll for the past 6 months it seems, starting to turn it around. This was my 3rd half point cover in a row.
