**2 "Welcome to MY conf. games" this week**

There are two newbees going up against 2 conference studs this weekend, and both have value in their lines. I'll certainly be on them both.

Utah (-3) over TCU
Yes, it is @ TCU, and yes they did beat Oklahoma. But OU is not the same old OU, and TCU followed up that OU game with a flat loss to SMU???????? IF they won that game, they probably would have been favorite. TCU is certainly improved, but can they really hang with UTAH. The Utes have dominated the MWC the last 2 years, going 10-2. TCU is playing their first MWC game, and I have to think that Utah would love to show them what they are in store for.

FSU (pk) over BC
Same premise for this game. FSU has been the ACC stud for many, many years. They are going into BC w/ an even line???? BC is 2-0 SU and ATS, but they beat Army and a mediocre BYU team. FSU is fresh off a walk-over of the Citadel, and one of their biggest games in years (FINALLY getting the W vs. UM). They have to be flying high coming in here. I believe the game will be close, but FSU's strength and athleticism will pull the Noles away in the second half.

I Also have a 10* play going this Saturday that I will have up shortly.

Adding a nice trend I found. TCU is 3-9 ATS @ home in their conf openers. Also, TCU isn't the TCU of the past, where is the O? I like the UTES to win this and win it without any problems.

I win here would certainly make a statement for this BC team.
I just feel FSU's defense could stop 9-10 NFL teams.
The front four that I watched play against UM are by far the fastest I have ever seen. I think they are going to make for a long day for Porter and his RBs.
Should be a great game either way.
And my F'n wife has me going to see Elton John. :monsters- I gotta have my head examined.

I guess that is why some genius invented Tivo.
