Have taken a different approach to handicapping this year and it's turned out very well. NFL is doing great, college is slightly behind. The approaches that the players/teams take to each game is different enough that you have to handicap differently. On to business of the day:
Top Play: Southern Mississippi -25 over UTEP. UTEP coming off a good victory last week-that's history, though. It won't be the case against a Southern Miss team that is improving weekly and setting themselves up for a great final month. Look for Southern Miss to dominate knowing they have 2 weeks until their next game, revenge from an embarrassing loss at UTEP last year, and behind a great home crowd at the Rock! Southern Miss 55-17.
Top Play: Western Kentucky-25. My son goes to Old Dominion so I've been lucky enough to watch this team play in person 3 times so far. Wont be making this one as I have a previous engagement but this will be too easy. ODU does not have enough overall talent to compete-bottom line. Additionally, they will starting their backup who is atrocious, worst than his stats indicate. I look for WK to handle this team to the tune of 49-10!
